I've seen him in a pub near me a couple of times. His mere presence put me right off my lunch, and it was a struggle not to walk over and tip my pint over his stupid smug head.

Accusing people with mental health problems as “attention seeking” is SO unhelpful.

ALL behaviour is attention seeking to a degree - why do babies cry? Because they are seeking attention for an unmet need.

All ‘challenging’ behaviours demonstrate a need for one or more of...
• Social attention
• Tangibles – basic needs (too hot, too cold, hungry etc)
• Escape
• Sensory (too little or too much)

It’s so obvious when you actually think about it. Asking for attention is somehow seen as a bad thing, but it’s actually a basic need.

I saw a YouTube clip of him talking about Meghan on an Irish TV chat show called the Late Late which explains a lot! Google it if you're interested as link won't post...

Basically he was snubbed after having a great time drinking cocktails with her in a bar, he put her in a cab to go to a party and she actually met Harry that very same night! Straight afterwards she 'ghosted' him (Piers own words btw) and he didn't like it as he said he really liked her...

I don’t think he should have left for airing views. I don’t think we should live in a society where view that differ from our own should be silenced. I think it’s ok for him to say that he does not personally believe she is being truthful whether that’s about her mental health or the Royal Family. Unless the views expressed are extreme hate or total falsehood, or as in the case of PP it is inconsistent with your profession (Dr telling a patient she is attention seeking) I detest cancel culture. I want all views to be expressed and then challenged robustly in a calm and civil way.

I do however think he should go because what Piers did went way beyond that. I had to switch off because I couldn’t hear anyone else’s point of view. His was the only view, shouted out by him over and over again, interrupting everyone else and he was overly emotionally invested. It became uncomfortable to watch, his behaviour seemed obsessive and deranged. That’s not debate. That’s not conversation.

He looks like he needs help.
