Lotus Biscoff spread. So many people rave about it and how they’re addicted and it’s better than Nutella. So I got some, for the first time, to put on pancakes.

And it’s rubbish: like prechewed biscuits in oil 🤮 I was expecting something brilliant and it was 🤢

Pancake spread with Gu salted caramel spread wrapped around a banana was divine though.

Well that description certainly has put me off ever trying it, prechewed biscuits in oil!

It's lovely with some nice crunchy slices of Granny Smith apple. Only a little dollop on each slice though.

That sludge is so disgusting. Almost made me gag.

I'm not keen but I wouldn't say it was rank. DD loves it.

I also thought it was going to be amazing and thought it was like prechewed biscuits. Like when a toddler decides to share and you don’t realise they’ve slobbered all over it

It’s nicer for cooking with, try using it in banana bread 😋

I like Biscoff biscuits but not the spread. Dulce de leche on the other hand...

Oh, and in a chilled cheesecake mixed in with the cheese and cream. You can leave out the icing sugar.

I love it.

And I love the way it melts on a toasted bagel!

I didn’t think I would like it but bought a jar anyway. I’m definitely a fan (and liked it on pancakes).

I've never tried it but still may need to buy some to try so I can leave my review 😁

The Gu choc spread is fabulous, spotted it in the supermarket recently as was on a mission to find goodies without palm oil.

I do like the crunchy biscoff but the smooth one is disgusting.

It is Wronge. Lotus biscuits are the stuff of the gods (especially when you're ravenous and tired and they appear free with your coffee). Biscoff spread is more 'oh gods, what is this stuff?'.

I’ve not tried it by itself but it’s good in brownies

I only eat it on a spoon but I'm the same with Nutella, find it too sweet to have with anything.

I was so excited to try it but found it gross
