My son has started doing digital art - basically he is taking photos of local landmarks and putting his own spin on them adding different filters. This is only one of the versions he has created. If this was a landmark local to you would you buy a print?

No, sorry.

Dinosauraddict · 13/02/2021 21:32

No sorry, I like original paintings etc not digital art.

Funnyfive · 13/02/2021 21:33

Yes if it was local to me - it looks great!

OhCaptain · 13/02/2021 21:33

No it’s not for me but I’m surer there’s a market for them!

HundredMilesAnHour · 13/02/2021 21:34

No sotty, I think it's dreadful.

HundredMilesAnHour · 13/02/2021 21:34

Sorry even

butterpuffed · 13/02/2021 21:34

I really like that.

SallyParkersMum · 13/02/2021 21:34

Alright! No need for that!
Medievalist · 13/02/2021 21:34

Fraid not

Dogsarehairy · 13/02/2021 21:34

I like the idea.
I dont like the colours- too 1980s. Maybe with moody blues, greys and blacks?

littlefireseverywhere · 13/02/2021 21:35

Yes, especially in local stuff.

KindnessCrusader · 13/02/2021 21:35

Yes, if it was somewhere local that was special to me. Smile

Hotcuppatea · 13/02/2021 21:35

Its not my cup of tea.

CrazyOldBagLady · 13/02/2021 21:35

There's someone doing something very similar in the area I live in. Someone bought me a print of theirs as well a gift. They are doing coasters too. Seem to be quite popular judging by the reaction on social media. Will try to find a link for you...

apostropheuse · 13/02/2021 21:36

No, I wouldn't.

Buswonker · 13/02/2021 21:36

This would look much better if he chose 2 shades to use digitally. So greys or black and white, then I think it could work

The colours as it is are a bit 1995 and not something I'd choose

HalfSizeMe · 13/02/2021 21:37

No. It's not real enough to be realistic, but because it's a real landmark it's not arty enough to be an art piece.

There might be a market amongst people who really love the landmark - like couples who got engaged there or something.

TrainingAim · 13/02/2021 21:37

Hmm, I might buy a greetings or note card but not a picture for the wall, unless it was a landmark with special significance to me or the recipient.

Terrysmyorange · 13/02/2021 21:37

Yes I would if it was a local landmark

Hohofortherobbers · 13/02/2021 21:37

Possibly, I expect there is a market for it

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 13/02/2021 21:37

I think it’s really nice and yes I would buy it if I was local and the building meant something to me.

justanotherneighinparadise · 13/02/2021 21:37

I like it!

Beseigedbykillersquirrels · 13/02/2021 21:37

No, sorry. I don't 'get' digital art, I think I've not caught up with it yet. There's a woman on local SM who does digital art and I think that, at the moment, it's just not recognised as talent or art and people are reluctant to pay a lot of money for it.

HighHeelBoots · 13/02/2021 21:38

I like it

LaceyBetty · 13/02/2021 21:38

I wouldn't. Sorry OP.
