Amazon Prime, Netflix, wherever. I need something to get us through the rest of winter because my work is depressing, my baby is exhausting, my cat won't leave me alone, and lockdown is forever.

Norsemen is light and funny.

Fargo ( series, not film. Favourite film of all time, I was really sceptical, but it’s fantastic)
Spaced, Friday Night Dinners, True Detective, Fast Show, The Queen’s Gambit, Dracula.

Lots more, can’t think atm.

I must be the only one who wasn’t taken with Pembrokeshire Murders at all. We switched it off half way through episode two. It was so slow and difficult to keep track of.

I've seen clips on Facebook, looks so good. Apparently E4 will def pick up season 2 but no definite dates yet. Hopefully March so fingers crossed will be able to watch soon. Season 1 was beautifully done, cried so much 😭 in between singing along to all the songs!

Umbrella Academy. Quirky and fun!

Nope, nodded off here, too.

Thank goodness it's not just me. I really tried to give it a chance but in the end DH said he was falling asleep to we switched off. We've just started Serpent though, which is absolutely excellent.

Seen all The Serpent. It's really good I thought. Especially if you read all about it on google afterwards!

I was OK with Pembrokeshire Murders because the Detective was tasty looking.

I REFUSE to watch 'Finding Alice'. What a load of bullshit. Seen 2 episodes. The other day I started episode 3, watched 10 minutes and thought... this is hours of my life I won't get back and turned it off.
All that gurning by Keeley Hawes and the cracking jokes is just tooooo much.

BrowncoatWaffles · 02/02/2021 19:32

The Boys on Amazon Prime. Dark and a bit odd but brilliant.

Something really blackly comic (so SO wrong and tragic and yet also oddly funny) happens in the first ten minutes or so. I think if you watch that and find it a bit much then just switch it off, but I watched it, laughed with my hands over my eyes in horror and was away.

Unlike anything else I've seen for ages.

Not heard of that one, will have a look see.

I beg you, try Fargo if you haven’t already (Series, not original, most brilliant, film.)

I was SO anti the idea. Son persuaded me and I was hooked in 15 minutes (wouldn’t admit it to him though)
And series 2 and 3 are even better!

I thought The Crown was drivel, though. Maybe I’m odd 🤷‍♀️
