Just that, really. Once Covid is over, I know what I'll be doing....

Changethetoner · 07/01/2021 20:36

the grammatical errors are annoying, but yes ha ha ha.

PlanDeRaccordement · 07/01/2021 20:37

I only voted YABU because anyone who writes “site” for “sight” is automatically unreasonable.

Trulyatraditionalman · 07/01/2021 20:38

@Changethetoner Not my writing, I assure you 😉

Brilliant! Grin

DanielRicciardosSmile · 07/01/2021 20:40

If anyone would like to declutter any books they'd be more than welcome at my house.

Same applies with money and my bank account

satnighttakeaway · 07/01/2021 20:42

@Changethetoner

the grammatical errors are annoying, but yes ha ha ha.
Also the use of the word bring when they mean take. For that alone I won't be doing it Grin
ChristyEpping · 07/01/2021 20:42

Reminds me of Sue Perkins parents and their friends playing hide the cheese!

Stripesnomore · 07/01/2021 20:45

I love this

Trulyatraditionalman · 07/01/2021 20:45

For some reason I have a real urge to bring a dusty old Thomas the Tank engine book to my most serious friend's house, and place it amongst a cluster of their very studious biomedical science books Grin

That’s hilarious Grin

I swear someone’s done that to me, with cutlery.

rosegoldwatcher · 07/01/2021 20:51

I am SO doing this!
I have a garage full of clutter - plenty to choose from.

Each Christmas we swap a box of presents with a local family - the rule is that evreything has to be from a charity shop. This year (as no charity shops were open) we did Happy Garagemas instead.

Plussizejumpsuit · 07/01/2021 20:51

Sorry if I'm just massively joyless but this sounds really fucking annoying.

feathermucker · 07/01/2021 20:52

Brilliant

yep, I would hate it and feel really invaded
Trulyatraditionalman · 07/01/2021 20:53

@plussizejumpsuit It's not for everybody, but I can strangely foresee some joy in finding a random mug saying "I heart Uzbekistan" in my cupboard and wondering where the hell it came from!

OP posts:
RedskyAtnight · 07/01/2021 20:54

So this is why we have all the MN threads about people finding random objects in their house that don't belong to them ...

MsJaneAusten · 07/01/2021 20:55

I think someone’s done this to me! There is a book on my shelf that I’ve always wanted to read but I’m sure I didn’t buy it Grin

SlopesOff · 07/01/2021 20:56

I foresee many threads on here about knickers in laundry baskets, sports bags, sofas, and jacket pockets that do not belong in the house.

I won't be bringing any to place in plain site though, or taking any to place in plain sight.

Have neighbours key, she goes out often, hmmmm.

Eekay · 07/01/2021 20:58

Do they do it with black, lacy knickers ? That's what MNetters frequently seem to find unexplained in their homes.

ImNotWhoYouThinkIam · 07/01/2021 21:02

Its like a more extreme version of "The Bible" that my brothers and cousin have. Said bible was stolen hidden in one of their suitcases after a holiday abroad in 2003. Its spent the last 17 years being passed among the 3 of them, as creatively as possible. Made harder by one of them moving to Australia. Last I heard it had been hidden on someone's dvd shelf. Grin

Trulyatraditionalman · 07/01/2021 21:07

@imnotwhoyouthinkiam

Amazing.
