Pajama bottoms with backside seams are unhygenic

Am I the only person who has a problem with the backside seam on pajama bottoms? The seam goes up my bum so I end up wearing night time knickers underneath to stop that happening and to stop having to wash my pjs every day. Do pj bottoms without a backside seam exist? Someone told me M&S had some, but can't find them.

I have pyjamas and a fleece bed jumper. I really feel the cold and can’t sleep if I’m chilly.

Only low rise pyjamas cause a problem - if they sit at my natural waist, they’re fine.

Not tight at all and the bottom half of my torso is daisy fresh* - I didn't say it was logical. I just feel that it seems a bit mucky.

And I only have one of each (vag and arse). I have never felt the need to "air" them, and as far as I am aware have never begun to suffocate from lack of oxygen to my nethers.

If you don't sleep in them the sheets are all cold when you get in at this time of year.

I think that wearing any pyjamas without underwear on underneath is skanky. I wouldn't go commando during the day in a pair of jeans. And I certainly wouldn't wear that pair of jeans for several days in a row, as people tend to with pyjamas! A clean pair of pants in the morning and a nice clean big comfy cotton pair under your pyjamas at night time.

Try good old flannelette/brushed cotton and a hot water bottle/electric blanket/send someone else in first.

Going commando in jeans would be uncomfortable and would rub, pjs not so much.

It is true that you do need to let your fanny breathe so as to avoid fungal infections. But a pair of cotton or bamboo undies will allow that to happen. Just not synthetic.

T shirt and clean pants. Can't bear pjs as they twist round my legs. A nightie rides up and gets into lumps under me, and as for wearing no pants in bed (retch!!!) I would have to change my sheets daily

Omg, my mum was obsessed with our fannies being allowed to breathe as well. It must have been th received wisdom of the time. I always wear pants, my poor fanny is always gasping.

My sister wear pjs and pants every night - her OH has been trying (without any luck) his best to rectify this situation for the past 10 years...

I have to sleep in pyjamas with a seam but no knickers in case my fanny and bum try to seal up whilst I’m airing them in my sleep.
