I was looking for that food thread where people recommended their favourite yummy foods and so much of it came from Aldi. I couldn't find that list.

So I'd like to be quite cheeky and as you to relist the Aldi products in this thread so I can then walk around Aldi with my phone in my hand and move that list from my phone to my trolley Grin

Thank you muchly!

Added lots of things to my monthly Aldi shopping list now Shock

They used to do a fish seasoning grinder which was perfect to jazz up a bit of salmon. I'm really hoping it makes a return x

Specially selected soup in these three flavours tomato & chorizo, butternut squash & smoked bacon and cream of chicken & smoked bacon.

Salted pretzel chocolate, melt in the middle choc pudding, beef and horseradish crisps, bacon, specially selectedcheddar and something sausage rolls, specially selected Cauli cheese, and their chilled pizzas! I buy 90% of my food shop at Aldi and love their stuff.

Their Christmas stuff at the moment is great think I bought too many nice things to try!

Ooh we love ALDI and it’s our main shop!

Things I think no one has mentioned so far:
The cava in a gold bottle
Carista beer (tastes exactly the same as corona according to Dh)
The wonky blueberries - SO cheap but amazing at 89p a pack
chicken and leek gratin ready meal
the regular sausage rolls (again a DH favourite)
Whole grain unsalted rice cakes
the fake petit filous-80p for 16!
Caramel d’or chocolate (white choc with caramel and pecans Shock)
own brand gravy granules
the fake Aussie shampoo and conditioner
Baby snacks especially the parsnip puffs and mamia oaty bars
The toilet blocks smell lovely and last ages
May’s vegetarian kitchen cheese and onion slices in frozen section

Things mentioned already but 100% agree and add a vote for:
The big oval pizzas
Dirty fries
Teddy faces (fake Pom bars)
Amaretto

Do Aldi sell tassimo compatible pods does anyone know?

VinylDetective · 21/12/2020 17:48

Lacuna skin care is brilliant, particularly the Caviar day and night creams. I’ve had all the Jo Malone knock off products and can’t fault them.

I don't think so but occasionally there are some Tassimo packs in the middle aisle.

Thank you to the poster who mentioned the butter with sea salt crystal. I bought a block as a Christmas treat and it’s amazing!

So in addition, I’d recommend that Grin

West Country butter with sea salt crystals and salted pretzel chocolate mentioned previously is 😍

Found these fresh pasta products, the porcini and truffle one is amazing and also salted caramel brownies

My children love the frozen pork patties - I use them to make sausage & egg mcmuffins & they're exactly the same as McDonald's ones.

I wish I lived near an Aldi. I don't have a car and have never been. I live fairly close to a Lidl, and go there sometimes, but my feeling is that most people prefer Aldi of the two.
