To feel sorry for Trump?

I’ve name changed for this as I know I will get completely flamed. But AIBU to secretly feel a little bit sorry for Trump? He campaigned so hard for this election compared to Biden and seemed to put his absolute all into it.

The amount of hate he gets on social media is astounding - I honestly don’t know how one person can handle all that and keep on going. I would have had a nervous breakdown or worse by now if I was on the receiving end of that.

His kids clearly love him and they seem alright - perhaps he’s not so bad behind the scenes? I think losing this election will destroy him as a person and whilst I don’t agree with his political viewpoint, I can’t help but feel slightly sorry for the guy.

He is the biggest mess as a president I have ever seen, a complete loose cannon, must be a nightmare for his press office. His kids may seem nice but are just as bad as he is

There isn't a single thing there you can back up with anything that stands up to scrutiny.. the continual throwing out of racism and transphobic accusations is straight from a woke handbook from the student union.

As for the muslim travel ban, maybe countries should be more cautious in general who arrives in countries and instead of crying racism racism maybe consider the risks of uncensored travel which happened several miles from me at the MEN arena where young children were killed by a scumbag that had no business being in this country.

There are no egs of Johnson being racist- criticising someones dresscode where they cover their entire face that could be worn by any race or colour of skin is not racism. Islam is not and never will be a race, like all religions it's a behavioural mindset that can be adopted by any individual in any country

The man had some good ideas and a different approach which was refreshing at first but his behaviour and lies have been cringeworthy. To see the hatred and divisions, hear the bullshit being quoted as fact and his so called miracle cure when dicing with the 'Rona has been jaw dropping. I remember feeling really dreadful for Michael Portillo the first time I saw the clip of the Portillo moment (bit young to have witnessed it live).

I didn't feel sorry for him, but he went up enormously in my estimation because he handled his defeat with dignity and grace. Trump would to well to take a leaf out of his book.

I really can't see Trump doing self-doubt at all.
