To feel sorry for Trump?

I’ve name changed for this as I know I will get completely flamed. But AIBU to secretly feel a little bit sorry for Trump? He campaigned so hard for this election compared to Biden and seemed to put his absolute all into it.

The amount of hate he gets on social media is astounding - I honestly don’t know how one person can handle all that and keep on going. I would have had a nervous breakdown or worse by now if I was on the receiving end of that.

His kids clearly love him and they seem alright - perhaps he’s not so bad behind the scenes? I think losing this election will destroy him as a person and whilst I don’t agree with his political viewpoint, I can’t help but feel slightly sorry for the guy.

Good Goddess OP. Have you taken leave of your senses? Don't feel sorry for the man. He's one of the most hateful men in the whole world. He's already started moaning on about voter fraud. However, if, and Lordy I hope not, he wins, will this alleged fraud be 'fake news'? He's also suggested the counting of votes be stopped. The man is so afraid of losing. We are in for a spectacular toddler temper tantrum when he (hopefully) loses. Just don't let him go near any big red buttons marked Do Not Push. 😂

He generates the dislike all by himself via his Twitter account, even Twitter has had to take down some of his rants.

The guy is probably suffering from some form of dementia, certainly anyone recommending injecting bleach is not really someone you want to be POTUS is it, likewise mocking the muslim parents of a dead soldier awarded the purple heart.

He isn't normal, the tragedy is that he has got many more votes, even though he may lose, than in 2016.

This OP is the reason we need something better than democracy. There are almost 70m other reasons why democracy doesn't work. Those people are not fit to decide anything in the world.
It's not a case of "he is not representing what I believe in". It's a case of immoral, narcissistic and demented behaviour that is so off the scale that he should be in a mental institution and not in any office.
