The Trump camp seem to be talking up the possibility that he can still win Arizona. It's making me slightly nervous as Biden's current lead there is not huge and there still seem to be quite a lot of votes to count.

I just came down from the attic. I was sorting through old pictures to keep occupied. Was doing pretty good until I came across my parent's wedding album and an album of our baby pics my mum put together. Kinda lost it and thought it's time to come down and clean the loos or something.

Read through all the updates and have a 'sliver of a glimmer' of hope. But I'm still going to stay away from news coverage.

DS2 is doing better, Thanks @Jaichangecentfoisdenom & all who sent good wishes. I think keeping busy at work is helping him, too.

I might be wrong but my guess is that Trump knows the game is up and is now engaging in face saving on Twitter etc, That way he can leave the WH (in the eyes of his supporters and his massive ego) with his head held high. He wasn’t “beaten” (despite losing the EC and popular vote by probably 7 million). No, the election was “stolen” by the “crooked” Democrats and “the establishment”.

Even if he a goner, there are two scenarios, one... he will flounce and go madder than normal until January, or two... he will decamp to Mar a Largo and do all the things that he said he doesn't. Wink!

I fear we are entering the misinformation stage of this election. Lots of smart folks have studied how to combat misinformation. Here are four key points to effective fact-checks:

They are from highly credible sources (with extra credit for those that are also surprising, like Republicans contradicting other Republicans or Democrats contradicting other Democrats).

They offer a new frame for thinking about the issue (that is, they don’t simply dismiss a claim as “wrong” or “unsubstantiated”).

They don’t directly challenge one’s worldview and identity.

They happen early, before a false narrative gains traction.

i agree, I think you might be right too.

But he will become irrelevant very quickly and I think the worst of his enabling Aides will slowly back away saying they only remained in the WH to try and rein him in. IF he loses he will become toxic. And then there's Deutsche Bank who are calling in his loans, and his pending court cases. The Presidency has protected him... hopefully no more

Trump campaign have filed lawsuit to halt counting in Wisconsin. Saying they haven't been granted access to the count.

Watching one of the election officials from Wisconsin now, Red. I think he said if it's below 0.5 Wisconsin pays for the recount, if it's below 1 but above 0.5 you pay yourself. Actually, he is the attorney general too.

I will not relax until it is called. Too many swathes of votes could swing it either way.

Friday we will know for sure. Will be an interesting day for sure.

Yeah. I don't seen anything else now. Postal votes should all favour Biden and they are mostly what's left to count.

Pennsylvania election officials said exactly this earlier.

If your vote has been cast, it will be counted.

And of course, even if he does leave the WH he is unlikely to be leaving Twitter...

The Trump Show is definitely not over- but outside of the WH he would be back to the entertainment figure he was before the presidency, albeit a very influential one.

Wouldn’t he get a lifetime security detail as an ex president? I can't decide whether that would puff up his sense of self-importance or seriously hamper his extra curricular activities.
