US Elections - Trump or Biden, who will win?

JustSaying101 · 03/11/2020 19:55

Intrigued to see who everyone thinks will win the current US presidential elections? I wouldn't personally vote for Trump, but I think he will manage to win another term. What do you think?

YABU = Trump will win
YANBU = Biden will win

I really don't know. I think Trump might just do it. The polls say Biden but we all know they can be wrong.

AsMuchUseAsAMarzipanDildo · 03/11/2020 20:12

As much as it appalls me, I think Trump will win convincingly Sad

Hoctober · 03/11/2020 20:13

Trump, I think- he's not far enough behind in the polls for my liking.

rooarsome · 03/11/2020 20:13

It'll be Trump again, sadly

tobee · 03/11/2020 20:15

No one's going to say Biden. Everyone's still traumatised since 2016

Leaannb · 03/11/2020 20:15

He will lose the popular vote but win the Electoral College Vote-,AGAIN...Dear God, prove me wrong

Youngatheart00 · 03/11/2020 20:16

I really really want it to be Biden but I have an awful feeling it’s going to be Trump

NonCisWoman · 03/11/2020 20:16

There will be mass riots regardless of who wins

CitizenClem · 03/11/2020 20:16

I'll be the first to say Biden. I think the polls are too consistently in his favour, the gaps are too big, turnout is high, and this time, Donald Trump is not the unknown, so undecideds won't plump for him.

Michaelschofield · 03/11/2020 20:17

Hopefully Trump

Figgygal · 03/11/2020 20:17

I hope it’s Biden but I’ve got a horrible feeling it won’t be

agradecida · 03/11/2020 20:18

Trump unfortunately. I never believed he'd win the first time, I never believed the UK would vote leave, so I'm pretty resigned to the fact that Trump will win again and top off the shit-show that is 2020 nicely.

Imakemistakeseveryday · 03/11/2020 20:18

I think whoever wins the election Trump will stay in The White House! I can imagine him standing behind the front door refusing to open it and get out.

Thelnebriati · 03/11/2020 20:18

I don't think this will be a popular view, but I don't see Biden being much better than Trump. I'm dreading the outcome either way.

@Imakemistakeseveryday I can completely imagine that too 😂

I just know that Trump will win. It really should be Biden but judging by how things have been for the last couple of years I think it's quite obvious what's going to happen here. Hmm

Takemetothebar · 03/11/2020 20:28

Biden will win the most votes, and trump will win the electoral college and get in. Bastard.

Whitecottoncandy · 03/11/2020 20:30

Please let it be Biden!!! I can’t handle another 4 years of trump. An inanimate object would be a better president than trump.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 03/11/2020 20:32

This is going to sound dumb but can someone explain how the votes tonight don't just mean it will be Thing1 or Thing2?

I understand the Electoral College vote wilk hapoen next month but surely the Democrats in that will vote Dem and the Republicans will vote Rep?

Yet it's not as simple as that?

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 03/11/2020 20:35

I thought Biden all along. But then l had a horrible flash today that it was going to be Trump😭

topcat2014 · 03/11/2020 20:35

I have always believed trump will get in again

PostItJoyWeek · 03/11/2020 20:37

DH keeps muttering that the last US election will turn out to have been their last peaceful handover of power. I fear he may be right.

Apileofballyhoo · 03/11/2020 20:39

It's because not all the votes will be counted by tonight, Bernadette. 70% of the total 2016 vote has been sent by mail. If Trump wins the on the day votes he's not going to want to bother counting the postal ones.

Whatafustercluck · 03/11/2020 20:41

Everything is pointing towards Biden. So I think it'll be Trump unfortunately.

Leaannb · 03/11/2020 20:42

Depending on how close the numbers are, Biden will insist they are counted and the provisional votes are counted. It will end up in court
