BlM protests being allowed and approved of in a sense by democratic mayors and governors is abhorrent to traditionally Democrat voters who want law and order. To clarify ,protesting in a democracy is absolutely correct. Rioting,looting trashing businesses attacking police without any comeuppence is just wrong. Every day Americans were horrified by what they saw happening and still happening in Philadelphia.they will vote Republican on that basis - so Altho Biden's picking up the trump haters he is losing traditional Democrat voters all over the place in key states like New york and. There is one other very big difference from 2016 and that’s that we’re in the middle of a pandemic. Trump always blames China and refuses to accept any personal restrictions for his handling of COVID, when there are a thousand deaths a day.

I read somewhere that he received a lot of support from over 65s at the last election, the group that is most at risk from the virus. So, not surprisingly, he won’t fare nearly so well this time.

I also don't believe the polls and that it's down to the wire in Michigan- whitmersr handling of the protests and lockdown was
seen as crazy.

Maybe not Trump but most of his supporters I used to be conservative. This means I didn't believe schools shouldn't be teaching evolution or old Earth. It means I believe sex education should only be taught in school and life starts at conception. And climate change is a hoax. Trump did ban some science involving human embryos but I am ok with that though. My conservative side never really left me. But they are definitely anti science when it comes to third trimester abortion because they refuse to understand why women are having it done.
