Trump used manipulation and race-baiting four years ago. He’s at it again. We are weary and worried but we shall persist.

Thank you TNWP.

Adding to the previous thread, antifa starting to resemble intifada, if they are throwing bricks and cans and being shot in return. Hmm

Roussette · 02/09/2020 14:42

Thank you NorthWest Smile

This soup tweet made me laugh...

That picture of Nana and her plaid trolley on the last thread is priceless.

I plan to buy a trolley just like that to take to my next rally. I will wear a plastic rain bonnet like an iron helmet. I will wear a beige raincoat like the shiniest of armour. I shall brandish an extra large size can of SOUP like a grenade!!!

I will strike TERROR into the hearts of all!! Look upon me and FEAR MY MIGHT, all ye who oppose me!

Days until the election - 61

Days until the Inauguration - 140

Thank you for the new thread.

BoreOfWhabylon · 02/09/2020 17:26

Thanks for the new thread. I mostly lurk these days but was thinking back over the 4+ years they've been going. We all knew it was going to be bad, but I don't think anyone realised just how bad.

Still, at least he hasn't nuked anyone. Yet.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 02/09/2020 17:28

Oh, hush. Turn your coat inside out and put it back on that way, spin three times clockwise and spit over your left shoulder, quick!

HoldMyLobster · 02/09/2020 17:58

Oooh only 2 months?

Cannot.

Wait.

Heffalooomia · 02/09/2020 18:01

Yay, new thread, settling in for the final act!
I've been following these podcasts and he seems convinced that due to dementia/failing health trump wont make it to the election

Yes, I can't believe it's 4 years already!

I don't think anyone realised just how bad.

I some ways, I expected worse, but he has been a low energy President. There's still time, I guess.

Roussette · 02/09/2020 18:17

*BREAKING: Chris Wallace, Steve Scully And Kristen Welker will moderate the 3 Presidential Debate between Trump and Biden.

Get ready to see Trump and his people try and smear all three of these individuals as being "part of the deep state."

I know Chris Wallace... but no idea about the other two, does anyone know anything about them?
Is Trump going to complain about this?

Lweji · 02/09/2020 18:25

Kristen Welker works for NBC. And she's black too.

Steve is a C-SPAN senior producer and political editor. Former President of the WH Correspondents' Association. (That little thing which dinners DJT has been missing)
Known for evenhandedness and "the most patient man on TV" (John Oliver).

Roussette · 02/09/2020 18:26

Oh deary me... Shock
Worth watching...

Roussette · 02/09/2020 18:27

Should be interesting... no doubt he wont be happy with Chris Wallace given the interview he gave him !

Lweji · 02/09/2020 18:39

The Adventures of the Most Patient Man on Television - Last Week Tonight With John Oliver

We'll know when he says those short "sure", "ahah" and "OK" and ends with "we'll leave it at that" with DJT.
In fact, we could have a drinking game out of it, I suspect.

Lweji · 02/09/2020 18:53

The unflappable Kristen Welker.

If she can dodge lighting equipment and continue as if nothing happened, she can deal with Trump.

Not sure he likes her or not. He did congratulate her on her new job, but was it only to avoid answering a question?

Ouch, ouch, OUCH

Lweji · 02/09/2020 19:01

Remember this one?

Why weren't the US prepared with more testing (if you sensed a pandemic was coming)?
Blame the media.

I like her.

Roussette · 02/09/2020 19:49

Thanks for the clips. Good to watch. Strong people

I'd just like to say 'Not all soups ...' and thanks for the new thread North. Smile

Cash flow problem (maybe to do with a cash siphoning issue):

apnews.com/8738cac48d9b4c3f3b733c7bc0c7ff3b

'WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has pulled most of his advertising from TV over the past week, ceding the airwaves to Democratic rival Joe Biden, who is currently outspending him by more than 10-to-1, advertising data shows.

Though Trump has an outsized ability to command national attention, it is unusual for a White House contender to go mostly dark on TV the week after their presidential convention. The election is just over two months away and early voting will begin in September in some states.'

Lweji · 02/09/2020 20:55

Interesting.
Saving it for the judicial battle post-election?
Just not sure if to fight the result, the lawsuits or both.
