I can't believe the number of idiots who are so excited by the payroll tax 'holiday'. They don't realize it will NOT reduce their tax bills. They'll just have to pony up the difference from their savings, if they have any savings left by next year. If not, they'll have to go in debt to pay the IRS. Wankers!

This exact same thing happened when Scrotus reduced payroll deductions as part of his 'big and beautiful tax plan' and marketed it as a 'tax cut'. People were horrified when they did their taxes and realized they actually owed more. Well, yes, because you PAID LESS in payroll deductions!!!

We, thank God, immediately went in and increased our withholding back up to the pre-'tax cut' level. And if this 'holiday' happens, we'll bank the amount not withheld as a cushion for next year.

Given he can't hold his cult rallies so he is at the mercy of the media now which means they can control the narrative more, fact check him, let him answer or walk out.

It happened yesterday with a reporter and Veterans Choice (a lie he's made 150 times). She said it was something Obama did in 2014. He walked out. No answer.

"Why do you keep saying that you passed Veterans Choice?" CBS News White House correspondent Paula Reid asked Trump. As Trump tried to call on another reporter instead, Reid continued, "You said that you passed Veterans Choice. It was passed in 2014...it was a false statement, sir."

I think he assumes his base will think he is taking a principled stand against the dishonest media.

But walking out like that simply draws attention to the question he doesn't want to answer as well as that thorny issue of accountability from President 'I don't take responsibility at all.'

He assumed that but it is his modus operandi again and again when he doesn't like a question or a journalist persists. It's happened a lot of times!

I like to think that every time he pulls this shit or says something stupid a great swathe of former voters defects to the other side.

I didn't know this was a thing even before the pandemic.

The Black Hills/Badlands are such a beautiful area and so full of Native American history. It's actually the treaty lands of my own ancestors, although I wasn't raised there. This is unprecedented. The NSA is commonly present on all calls with foreign leaders - not only that, he/she will pre-prepare POTUS and debrief at the very least. That is their job. The fact O'Brien hasn't been performing this basic function is extremely concerning.

And that is the lucky ones, who have an actual sentence. The little kids don't know how long they will be locked up for, and have no term to their arbitrary punishment for no crime they have committed.
