Look, anything Trump claims is being done to/against him always turns out in the end to be being done by him.

His endless projection is very peculiar.

He's trying to rile up his new target audience, the ubiquitous 'suburban housewife'. Women who tremble in fear when a strange car comes down the road. Women who are sure that every stranger is a rapist or a child abductor. Women who just know that 'an other' is going to buy that house down the block and devalue her property.

In short, mostly women who are probably already part of his base. Because other than them, those women probably do not exist.

I've rarely seen anything as incoherent as the person on the plane comments.

The US government has said that it will not participate in a global initiative to develop, manufacture and equitably distribute a vaccine for Covid-19 because the effort is co-led by the World Health Organization.

It is possible that a policeman somewhere has been hit by a tin of soup thrown by some infuriated housewife on her way home from the shops, I suppose.

But is a brick really too heavy to throw? Would that be why we always used to throw half-bricks? Yes, probably; a brick weighs about 4lb.

But it does have the advantage of not taking fingerprints....

Whereas tins of soup could be passed straight on to soup-kitchens.

There are clearly things to be said for either missile.

Less absurdly, it is likely that at least some fires in buildings during riots may well be caused by tear-gas grenades/canisters, which produce gas hot enough to cause fires in an enclosed space.

Nothing about tins of soup that I can find apart from Trump suddenly coming out with the theory. Even Breitbart has gone with bricks rather then cans of soup, so far.

Don't tell Trump but this is how members of Antifa conceal their deadly weapons after stocking up at the supermarket.
