They aren't pressers, they're campaign 'events'. Naturally he's going to be pounding on the same thing. He's not trying to keep the American public informed, he's trying to speak to his base.

What's disappointing is that the journalist Trump cut to asked a different question instead of referring Trump back to the original question about lying

And what's worse, the question about lying has been largely ignored by more prominent news outlets. I can't find any reference to it on CNN

He has finally admitted that his motive for blocking funding for the postal service is that he thinks mail-in ballots will favour Democrat voters: apnews.com/ece1f6e9cea1b2aa0a8c6af7ca003f26

The World Service reported him as saying that money given to the postal service was "funding the Democratic Party", but I can't find those actual words anywhere this morning.

Will there be a face to face discussion between Trump and Biden? Not sure how it works in the USA.

I believe the dates for the debates have been set.
I wonder if he'll also leave if he doesn't like any question.

There are supposed to be 3 debates between 29 September and 22 October. Scrotus supposedly wants a 4th debate because of 'early voting'. But he's also said he's not sure if he'll debate at all because the Presidential Debate Committee is 'biased against him'.

Whatever.

There is also a logistics issue due to the pandemic. They've had to change locations for 2 debates when the venues cancelled on them.

Trump has appointed a Trump supporter with no experience whatever of the postal service as Postmaster General, one Louis DeJoy. DeJoy seems to be deliberately sabotaging the USPS at Trump's behest, by removing essential machinery, doing away with overtime, and other such things designed to slow the mail.

Surely this is against the law? Does USPS stand for United States Postal Service? Is there not some sort of regulation in place?
