Don't throw away your "Nasty Woman" t-shirts - Trump has decided to repurpose the tag for Kamala. He droned and droned (and lied, of course) and was very low energy at the Press Conf. Reporters' questions afterwards were pitiful and few.

Is it just me, or is Trump-baby's whining that Harris made his buddy Brett cry, NOT going to play well with uncommitted Trump-voters?

Because a lot of those voters like shows of strength. Others like to see themselves as gritty underdogs. And Kavanaugh ticks neither box: he's a preppy, pink-cheeked fratboy who cries when mummy tells him off.

The World Service told me Trump said he was surprised Biden had picked her because she had done so badly in the Democratic Presidential primaries.

Which led to me wondering how Pence did in the Republican primaries for President in 2016. I don't think he got 2% (grin).

Biden and Harris will appear together at an event today in Delaware. It's slated to begin at 2pm EDT. I don't think it will be televised live, but I'm sure there will be reporters there doing 'live updates' posts.

Let's see..we have golden cherry plums, peaches, and lemons. So many lemons! Our peaches aren't the best for eating out of hand. They aren't freestone and the fuzz on them is itchy (to me). But they are the BEST for baking. Our blackberries need a bit more time.

We live in 'Citrus Country', Roussette. We have 2 lemons, a naval orange, a valencia orange, and 4 mandarin trees (I think the UK calls them satsumas?).

I only wish we had an apple tree. I think it gets too hot here for them to thrive. But a few miles 'up the hill' is an area famous for growing apples.

We're very lucky here in CA to have such varied climates.

Well fucker Carlson made it a big thing. Yes he got it wrong by mistake, but the correct response would be to say "Right sorry, so it's Ka ma la" then carry on with the interview, not "it's doesn't matter". Not caring how a non English name is pronounced is racist. It's OK not to know, but you ask to make sure that you get it right.
