I think it's a good choice. She's a fighter and won't let Trump spook her. (If she has to take over at some point she will be ready to be a President on day one.) I would have been happy with Elizabeth Warren too.

Yes, they will try to go after her for prosecuting parents whose children repeatedly truant and for every other case she has ever touched or overseen.

The VP debate will be "interesting". Kamala Harris will be a challenge for Pence. (And how will Mother cope with Mikey being in the same room with another woman...?)

I'll hate to lose her as one of our US Senators as she has served us well. But Calif is a pretty 'blue' state so I'm fairly confident she'll be replaced by another Democrat.
