Definitely The Platform - netflix

Cannot get it out my head

SparkyTheCat · 30/05/2020 13:08

Dead Man Walking. The only film that's ever given me nightmares.

blosstree · 30/05/2020 13:10

I watched a film called Fractured on Netflix recently, it really really freaked me out. It's not a particularly standout film (in my opinion) so I don't know why it's affecting me this much!

IneverHadTheLatin · 30/05/2020 13:11

Three Days of the Condor.

Happynow001 · 30/05/2020 13:12
  • Living with the Enemy w Julia Roberts
  • Dangerous Liaisons w Glenn Close and John Malkovich
  • Fatal Attraction w Glenn Close and Michael Douglas

.

Melancholia. Decidedly odd, and a bit arty, but it makes sense after you've watched it.

pigoons · 30/05/2020 13:13

Get out and It Follows
Watched It Follows on iplayer and it is scary...

IntermittentParps · 30/05/2020 13:13

The Orphanage, a Spanish film. Frightening, melancholy. Glorious rugged coastal scenery.

The Lighthouse. Fucking nuts. Gruesome in parts, uncanny in others, sometimes hilarious.

LBB2020 · 30/05/2020 13:14

Schindler’s List, The Green Mile, Sleepers and 28 Days Later

Happynow001 · 30/05/2020 13:16

Misery with James Caan and Kathy Bates

Mummiepig · 30/05/2020 13:16

I second martyrs and human centipede
Both very disturbing
Liked boy in the striped pyjamas too
If you want REALLY disturbing watch “A Serbian film” (that’s the actual title)

PaulineScrambledPhones · 30/05/2020 13:17

Raw (subtitles, French)
Tusk (absolutely hideous, I couldn’t finish it)
A Field in England (total mindfuck)

TazSyd · 30/05/2020 13:19

I came on to say American History X and a poster got there almost immediately. Really disturbing.

PaulineScrambledPhones · 30/05/2020 13:22

American History X stayed with me quite a while.

Nostradamuswept · 30/05/2020 13:23

I also completely missed the point of this post apparently and skipped over horror and right to depressing and disturbing 🤦🏻‍♀️

Notapheasantplucker · 30/05/2020 13:23

Another one to say 'I spit on your grave', disturbing.

middleager · 30/05/2020 13:24

No wonder! My aunt took my mother to see Rosemary's Baby when my mom was heavily pregnant.
