District 9. Far fetched but amazing!!

Not a film, but we've just finished "lots of little fires" on prime which was really good!

YessicaHaircut · 30/05/2020 14:07

Requiem for a Dream. I found it really disturbing and it stayed with me afterwards.

Boxing Helena really disturbed me....it was years ago and it still disturbs me 😱

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 30/05/2020 14:13

Recommend The Orphanage for a good psychological thriller , I have never seen any of the torture poem type films mentioned.
Requiem for a dream I didn't like as a couple of the scenes really disturbed me.

NotEnoughTime · 30/05/2020 14:14

To all those who mentioned 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas' I would really like to see this but I know it would break my heart so I have to avoid it.

I found the film Monster stayed with me a long time after watching it as did Ill Manors.

HellloBambinos · 30/05/2020 14:14

Riot Club
Insidious
