AIBU? Neighbours demanding money for McDonald’s

We live in quite a small but nice street, mainly detached with decent sized gardens. We have a whatsapp group that the whole street is on, barring one family LOL. But we won’t talk about them.

Anyway, DH is the one who reads the group most often and has now got into a massive fight with the neighbours over a group-buy of McDonalds food next week.

I have a large garden but only a semi detached house, though it is in the South East. One of my neighbours wears a wig and has a shih tsu. My neighbour doesn’t sneak rubble into my bin and he parks appropriately in his own driveway. Am I allowed a McDonalds?

Look you're obviously so bored you've all turned on each other. It's weird that so much planning has to go into a group order for next week

If possible, get the order delivered at 8pm next Thursday. It will then look like all the neighbours are clapping when the delivery man comes which will be nice for him.

Our estate started a CV whatsapp group and as soon as I was invited I rejected it. These things can just be pointless and take up a lot of time.

I wonder whether you’ve given such an explanation of your area to demonstrate that there are no poor people there and so it’s not quite the done thing to have arguments with neighbours over fast food? Or because the family excluded from the WhatsApp group lives in one of the few non detached houses and only has a small garden?

Me too,but our nearest McDonalds is 7 miles away but the KFC near it is opening 🤔
