AIBU? Neighbours demanding money for McDonald’s

We live in quite a small but nice street, mainly detached with decent sized gardens. We have a whatsapp group that the whole street is on, barring one family LOL. But we won’t talk about them.

Anyway, DH is the one who reads the group most often and has now got into a massive fight with the neighbours over a group-buy of McDonalds food next week.

I don't understand, is the OP telling us that there is a MacDonalds at the end of her lovely street , possibly managed by the family no one speaks to ? Are they now planning to re open the MacDonalds but she is not sure if her husband is still banned from the whatsap group because he says he likes the pickle and anyone who doesn't is a wally. (Chip shop joke for free) . Or are there plans afoot for a mass social gathering in the Macdonalds car park to celebrate not the end of lockdown but we live in big houses and don't care but the people who no one talks too have tipped off OPs husband by semaphore that the mass Macdonalds eat in has been flagged up to the local community police and they are going to raid it and confiscate all the apple pies on the grounds that they are potentially lethal weapons .
