Just a lighthearted post to change the subject from all things Corona!

I love watching cookery shows on a saturday morning and make a lot of Nadiya's recipes. Absolutely love her!

She was making a breakfast dish I was admiring and thinking of making tomorrow morning, and then I saw it. ODD SOCKS. The OCD in me came out and made me wonder, is this a thing people do intentionally? I mean she knew she was recording a show in her socks, probably didnt anticipate the camera pan down to her feet though!

Seriously it would drive me insane knowing I had odd socks, holely socks or seeing my kids or OH with them!!! As soon as one goes missing in the wash load, I give it a few days to turn up or it is banished !

Vote Yes if you are happy with odd socks or no if you're like me and think it's a no-go!

My son only wears odd socks - except for school. Don’t know why just prefers it. I probably are more of a matching sock person unless they’re the same pattern in different colour.
There is a company that only sells ‘pairs’ of odd socks.

It's a thing....you can even buy them. I like it!

YABU. Nobody in our house has ever worn odd socks - I refuse to match up anyone's socks, nobody else in the house cares enough either and I quite like it.

Odd shoes / socks are in fashion.

There’s a company that sell several odd socks of coordinating colours but no pairs and you just select 2 at random each day.
So it is a thing.

You can buy pairs of odd socks: Odd Socks. I'm guessing this isn't what you mean though. The DDs both deliberately mix up socks within a multi pack together a similar effect.

I often wear odd socks. Not always intentionally. I don’t even know why. You end up with random odd single socks (where do they all go, does the washing machine vanish some away) and they’re perfectly usable so I use them.

I only buy black socks as I can’t be arsed to match a pair up, nobody has time for that but good on here for not resorting to only black socks

I hate odd socks! I always pair them on the line/airer. I check for both halves of each pair as I load the machine.

Not as bad as day of the week socks/pants though. I couldn't cope with wearing the wrong ones for any day.

I have decided life is too short to pair up socks and just grab the first two socks I find. If one sock of a pair gets a hole, it gets chucked but the other is kept till it also gets a hole.

My socks must match. And when I peg them out to dry, the pegs must match too (each other, not the socks). I'm quite a relaxed person, honest!

I wear odd socks, some bought as odd pairs and some I've mismatched myself. Makes pairing the socks after washing them so much easier!

I did not know you could buy mismatched socks. I think everyone else in my house would be perfectly happy wearing socks that did not match, but the OCD in me is like NOPE! I actually do 99% of the laundry, folding and putting away so I guess that helps!!!

Currently wearing a pair of odd socks - which were bought as such. I like wearing odd socks that are meant to be odd rather than just random odd socks.

3 years ago my 34 year old friend died of breast cancer. Since that day I have never worn matching socks.
She was well known for never wearing a pair of socks, it is my tribute to her & every morning when I put my socks on I think of her.
