Second thread.

Thanks for all the support.

Dreading them coming out od school because I can see my dd getting it in the ear from them, and I'm really feeling for her.

Link to first thread to follow in a minute (when I figure it out).

I'd love to send that @Crazyoldmaurice !! Grin

peanutfoldover · 24/01/2020 21:45

Please update us on any interactions you get re. Dog situation.

BanKittenHeels · 24/01/2020 21:46

Let's be real, they're getting a taxi but saying they're walking. It's an obvious guilt-trip
Totally this. Totally.

YouTheCat · 24/01/2020 21:46

I can't believe she expected you to give her a lift back! Cheeky cow.

One last text to say you won't be dog sitting and then block her. Get your dd to block her dd on SM and her phone.

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 24/01/2020 21:46

Well done Op but please stop texting her now. She's not a friend but a user so best to let the friendship go.

GabriellaMontez · 24/01/2020 21:48

I would block the daughter on your dds phone. No need for this.

What's that saying about "no Good deed goes unpunished".

BanKittenHeels · 24/01/2020 21:48

I wouldn’t text her about the dogs. I’d simply block her.
I’d then send a email/send a note to DD’s form tutor or head of year about the bullying because that’s what this is now.

MiniMum97 · 24/01/2020 21:48

Wow! So she didn't contact you all day and then stayed behind without speaking with you and then expected you to just wait to give her a life home! Wtf!!!

Ishihtzuknot · 24/01/2020 21:49

I’ve just read this thread and I’m in shock someone can be so rude and disrespectful. I wouldn’t have offered a second lift without a thank you never mind 2 years on with all those demands and expectations!
I wouldn’t text her again as it makes it look to her that you’re in the wrong and grovelling, classic narcissist, she’s ignoring you to make you feel guilty so you cave and offer the lifts again.
If you really must text end it with a final ‘ please do not contact me or my daughter again all arrangements are off including dog sitting I will not continue to be a free taxi service for ungrateful people’ then block her number.
Don’t let her get to you I have dealt with people like this for years so I know how much it grinds you down. She’s in the wrong not you. Enjoy your drink and leave her to it, she made her bed now she can enjoy her weekly 3 hour round trip wondering how it came to this Wine

MaggieFS · 24/01/2020 21:50

WTAF. She would cut off her nose to spite her face by walking instead of asking nicely for a lift! Or is low enough to get DD to claim to be walking. She's mad.

SilentSarey · 24/01/2020 21:50

She can’t possibly think you’d still dogsit!

Whiskeychaser · 24/01/2020 21:51

I'm not texting for her, I'm doing it for me, but mainly my dd, as I don't want a situation for my dd at school in March when they say we never told them we weren't looking after Q, so they've been left in the lurch, etc.

OP posts:
helberg · 24/01/2020 21:51

There's no way on earth they are walking.

Unbelievably cheeky.

AlexCrowe84 · 24/01/2020 21:51

I genuinely can't understand how some people get so entitled... Well done OP!

Whynosnowyet · 24/01/2020 21:51

Delete and block op.
You can't argue with stupid.

Do not get into any sort of discussion.
Same for your dd. That girl isn't her friend.

LazyDaisey · 24/01/2020 21:52

Right, so instead of asserting yourself and making boundaries, you’ve ditched them and left them stranded while some strangers on the internet cheer your version of events on.

Good luck to your DD on Monday,

cstaff · 24/01/2020 21:53

@TopOftheNaughtyList
I love your idea of putting a list of kennels in her door. It gets the point across without any further contact of any kind - phone call, text etc.

Crazyoldmaurice · 24/01/2020 21:54

Would you have sat around in your car waiting for them to come out after the club indefinitely then @LazyDaisey?

Mum2jenny · 24/01/2020 21:56

LazyDaisey have you actually read the 2 threads? Or is your user name an indicator?

BlokeTarget · 24/01/2020 21:56

@LazyDaisey is the CF friend!

She’s raging after having to walk home 01:20 mins Grin

OnTheEdgeOfTheNight · 24/01/2020 21:56

There's no rush to respond, sleep on it and compose something factual and brief tomorrow.

damnthatanxiety · 24/01/2020 21:56

LazyDaisey you aren't ditching someone if they never asked to be driven home and you never agreed. It is obvious from the thread that relations have broken down so why would the CF STILL be expecting the OP to DO HER A FAVOUR??!!!!

JayAlfredPrufrock · 24/01/2020 21:57

Walking home my arse.

Branleuse · 24/01/2020 21:58

Shes a cheeky fucker but i think you've been goaded here into making this more drama than it needed to be

BanKittenHeels · 24/01/2020 21:58

More fool LazyDaisey if she would have waited for them after being bullied and treated like shit.
