to think that what Piers Morgan is doing on twitter to Meghan is harassment / stalking and he should be reported?

Fellow twitter users - I don't follow Piers Morgan on twitter but I've seen a lot of his tweets about Harry and particularly Meghan retweeted by others. I can't believe the vitriol he has for her. I've reported many of them to twitter as "targeted harassment" (one of the twitter report categories) but of course twitter has done nothing.
Surely his abusive behaviour is something that no woman should have to put up with? (but of course Meghan's hands are tied - she can't say or do anything). Why don't the police have a word? (because if someone was running that sort of campaign against me, I would be asking them to). Or at least twitter do something about him - shut him down for a couple of weeks maybe?

BS. How is spewing lies about a person he only met once over two years ago doing the media’s job? What has she done that was so bad that she deserves to be called horrible names, criticised for every little thing even when she has done nothing wrong? He makes observations, doesn’t make them right. He has an obvious bias against Meghan. Where is his accountability? The media is suppose to be objective and impartial, using facts and evidence, not spewing whatever comes to mind that will make the most money which unfortunately is drama.

YANBU. I don’t like MM and I don’t think she’s beyond criticism but he is obsessed. He’s making money off saying nasty things about her.

He is a twat though and I can’t get my head around why anyway would like him

The Media on the other hand, appear to have no accountability at all. Piers is part of a powerful group that behave unlawfully, throw money at the problem to silence it and then don’t report it because it’s not in their interests.

I don't watch GMB, but I caught some of it this morning at a hotel I was in. He was HORRIFYING. Ranting about Meghan and Harry over expert guests, not allowing anyone to answer a question. He was also rude and misogynistic to the news reader- calling her an autocutie and demeaning her job and her skills.

I can't believe no-one stops or censures him.

PM is a very odd creature. He bragged and bragged about introducing Heather Mills to Paul MacCartney, me, it was me, if it hadn't been for me they wouldn't have met, etc. When Heather and Paul fell out he couldn't distance himself fast enough. Like Meghan has done with him Grin

I think that there is definitely going to be a backlash against Piers.
He will continue to dig a hole for himself and will eventually fall in it .
He definitely believes that he’s invincible and often boasts about viewer figures being higher when he’s around which may be the case. However, most decent people have had enough of him and he will most likely be out of a job before the end of the year

Yes he does appear to think he is invincible. I used to think he was ok but he's gone too far. Most people have had enough. Maybe he's in self destruct and wants be back in the U.S.

Th US didn't want him!

CNN didn't renew his contract. Could be to do with his sermon on gun control (the only thing I have ever agreed with him about), or the publicity about phone hacking in which he was implicated, or they just didn't like him. Ratings fell drastically apparently.

I imagine Meghan had rejected doing an interview with him or something like that, as obsessed weirdo Piers has just gone totally crazy with his attacks on her. He is a disgrace. I usually like to reply, reminding him about his printing fake photos, making out British troops were carrying out war crimes in Iraq, when he was the Mirror editor, and sanctioning hacking phones, too. He's a nasty piece of work and I wish he'd stayed in the States.

Prince Harry has an outstanding telehphone hacking case against the Mirror - Piers was editor then so could be in deep doodoo. Hence his bitching, he conveniently forgets to mention this when slagging off MM and PH.

I’ll be glad when everything’s died down and we don’t have to read anything about any of them anymore. Harry is given far too much relevance/importance, to say he’s only 6th in line to the throne. His life, (and his wife’s) and what they have to say for them selves should be of no interest to any of us. Just shows how ridiculous and bizarre the whole “royal family” thing is.

Piers Morgan is named in the Court pleadings apparently rather than it just being the Mirror so he most certainly has an axe to grind. I hope they continue with the litigation.

Makes you wonder why PM is continuing with this obsession if he is named in the court proceedings. He must believe he is invincible. Can’t stand breakfast tv (stuck in a massive sexist timewarp) so dont watch it but have heard enough in media from him. Didn’t know he introduced Paul McCartney to HM. Wow - bet McCartneys crossed him off his Xmas card list too.

Or how ridiculous the British press is for making a mountain out of a molehill. Again, there are more pressing matters going on then a royal stepping down like other royals have done before him.

Too right. There was an unbelievably bitchy, vulgar thread a little while ago berating 'the f.....g ginge and his (MM but can't remember how she was described)'; first time ever I reported and MN came back saying we don't usually remove posts attacking public figures - or words to that effect - but several people have complained so we are keeping an eye on it.

Anyway it was removed. It was so resentful, dripping venom, as well as composed of pond life vernacular.
