Fellow twitter users - I don't follow Piers Morgan on twitter but I've seen a lot of his tweets about Harry and particularly Meghan retweeted by others. I can't believe the vitriol he has for her. I've reported many of them to twitter as "targeted harassment" (one of the twitter report categories) but of course twitter has done nothing.
Surely his abusive behaviour is something that no woman should have to put up with? (but of course Meghan's hands are tied - she can't say or do anything). Why don't the police have a word? (because if someone was running that sort of campaign against me, I would be asking them to). Or at least twitter do something about him - shut him down for a couple of weeks maybe?

Because it’s a lovely distraction from real issues. Whenever the British press wants to distract from important issues they put out an article about Harry and Meghan. Brexit isn’t over, we’re not out of the EU, little has been said about the Iran situation and the UK’s stance. I’ve seen and heard more about them despite them not exactly being the first to step down as senior royals (Diana and Fergie did it after their divorces) than I have about the above. Why?

People wanted them to leave, they are.
They’re paying back the money for the renovations and renting frogmore out.

What else really needs to be said about them?

Tbh, I’m not that fussed about the .07 pence a month that the royal family (not just Harry&Meghan) cost us. More concerned about more important things that will likely effect us more than them splitting their time between England and Canada and continuing charity work.

If he cares about the Queen as claimed he needs to take note of her last message and respect her diplomacy in keeping the door open to people who after all are her family members

He has made some very valid points about Harry and Meghan. However the sheer volume of articles and tweets, the foaming at the mouth, the one track mind on the subject, just make you think he has lost the plot. As somebody said upthread, his censure stems from the fact that she used him a bit (she was reeling him in to network, not that she fancied him) and then dropped him like the proverbial hot coal when she started seeing Harry. As we all know now, Harry hates the media and PM is not everybody's cup of tea (understatement!)

His ego has taken a massive hit. He sees himself as a global mover and shaker, and he is right to some extent, he has a large reach across countries and different stratas of society. He is apoplectic that he could have had close links with the new power couple and the royal family, but he was foxed. He is in meltdown over it.

I don't think he should be charged with anything. He is making himself look such a chump, that's punishment enough.

Apparently he's targeted other women in the past to a degree but I had a look at his Twitter feed and every single day he is posting horrible things about Meghan. He's deranged.

Harry is suing mirror and sun over phone hacking - this is when Piers Morgan was editor so the nasty sod might get shafted. This probably influences his evil behaviour.

The Guardian piece ignores the major point imo that the couple oversaw their own website and instagram. Combined with statements from the palace and Queen, I know that I haven't needed to read commentary to form some opinions on the situation.

Morgan: The grade 1 arsehole who when in charge of Daily Mirror printed fake pictures of British soldiers torturing Iraqi prisoners and deeply involved in the phone hacking scandal. He irritates the hell out of me.How Sussanah Reid puts up with him God knows. Personally I am team Harry and Meghan he has been so affected by the treatment and death of his Mum and he could see how all the shit that is printed about Meghan was affecting their lives and eventually Archie's. I say good luck to them and wish them a peaceful life. At least they want to help and make a difference for people. All Morgan does is piss people off.

How do you know he has "told it how it is", @OrangeLindt? Neither you nor he are privy to everything that has been going on with the Sussexes over the last two year or discussions within the Royal Family. It's very clear that he's making a lot up, and even when he isn',t he is twisting facts to suit his agenda and is massively exaggerating.

I find it really interesting that I saw an article saying there's several publications being sued by Harry and Meghan, bet that's why some are so sour
