to think white Ferrero Rochers should be banned

I was given a 'tray' of Ferroro Rocher for Christmas. The tray consisted of white, brown (original) and dark brown Rocher. Not partaken since about 1994 so was quite excited to have a "ooh monsieur you are spoiling us" moment.

Opened the white one. WTAF? Desiccated coconut absolutely everywhere. Who invented these bags of dandruff? They are cunningly designed to ensure coconut falls out immediately upon opening. Doesn't even contain white chocolate. Just tastes of coconut. What's the point? No one in my household has been able to eat one without making an almighty mess. Might as well shake a bag of the desiccated stuff around the lounge.

These are not fit for the Ambassador's reception.

Any other 'chocolate' abominations I need to be aware of that I've missed?

White one are responsible for one of the lbs I put on this Christmas. Mostly cheese for the other lbs

I think Coconut is like Marmite.

Did you hear the outrage in early December that the Celebrations advent calendar contained Bounty bites for 1st and 2nd December!

After Eights are just Creme Eggs in flat minty form - they must be full of sugar!

I stick with the original forrero Roche's they are mess free and delicious 🤤

YABVVU I love these and have consumed 3 boxes of these since Christmas! Open the wrapping as you would crisps, tip into mouth, no coconut spillage!

Fortnums and masons in house Ice cream parlour is the stuff of dreams, and if you are not in London, worth the day trip just to go there, lol

the knickerbocker glory with the Swiss meringue topping is to die for, the banana split is a creamy mountain of heaven. It’s a real proper parlour with a “menu” of different sundaes or a make your own, its not like an ice cream shop with seating iyswim.

Every one tends to go there for afternoon tea on the top floor and totally unaware of the ice cream parlour.. I think I’m going to go next week now all this talk is making me dribble for some.

If you are my cleaning lady who I gave a tray of the stuff to I apologize profusely

Agreed, After Eights are a very similar sweet to Creme Eggs

The big difference is that I can eat 2-3 After Eights and that gives me a nice choccie fix at 100 calories.

A creme egg is around 200 calories and makes me feel sick it's so sugary!

I was half-thinking of adding them into my next food bank donation as they still have 6 months Eat By on them but after reading reviews I thought why should they get that crap.

I'll get them some nice Kettle Chips or those lovely veggie slices, which are lush!

I find Kinder Happy Hippos are equally messy with the meringue bits but equally delicious!

I also remember the mint fresco ones and the coffee liquid filled ones. Got them in my stocking in the early 90s!

I don’t like white chocolate it smells of baby sick.

Ds12 got a box of these for Christmas, he prefers them to regular Ferrero Rocher although he loves those too

Raffaello are much superior to Ferrero Rocher and this is a battle I am ready to pick!
