In the last thread, Trump was impeached by Congress. Now the question is when the articles will be sent to the Senate for Trial, as - at this stage - there is no guarantee from Mitch McConnell of a fair trial. Trump clings to his belief that his call to Zelensky was “perfect”.

The interference in the Stone case just has me fuming. It just shows how more and more we're slipping in to Totalitarianism. It's actually frightening.

I love it when Trumpy gets riled which he appears to be with Bloomberg who certainly knows how to press his buttons. Trump is criticising Bloomberg's game of golf... doubt that is causing sleepless nights for Bloomberg..

Bloomberg is looking more and more like a viable option. He seems to be the only real match for Trump.

Does Bloomberg even play golf? I really don't know.

If he is a viable option, what are his actual politics? the last thing America needs is another Trump.

All four prosecutors of Trump friend/adviser Roger Stone Jonathan Kravis, Michael Marando, Aaron Zelinsky and Adam C. Jed have now resigned in the wake of President Trump criticizing their sentencing recommendation, and DOJ acquiescing.

Trump would tie himself up in knots if the comparison were purely economic, especially with the endless fraud and questions about tax and bankruptcies.

As far as I can see just from today's social media, Bloomberg's attitude to race is under the microscope rather than his wealth. Hard to tell, of course, whether this is GOP/bot led or proper consideration.

I never really understood why wealth is considered a measure of leadership ability.

The Stone interference is appalling but I see now that four of the prosecutors have resigned.
