I know, I know it has been done to death but honestly, some peopl are just fucking pig-ignorant.

Pulled up at Asda at the same time as a roughish middle aged couple, two P&T spaces available, I pulled into one, they pulled into another. Another car drove past with a young couple in and a tiny baby, looking for a space but obv couldn't park there as we had just taken last spaces.

Middle aged couple got out, stared at me as though to say 'so?' so I said 'I take it you have invisible children then??'

He said 'yeah actually' and sauntered off.

TWAT.

I would wish my condition on you (especially today as it's f'in well killing), but I'm obviously a far bigger person and wouldn't stoop so low

I don't use P & T parking spaces as a rule tho I have 2 children 3.5 yrs and 3 months. Reason why - I find it easier to park furthest away from the shop where it's empty, and shop at a quiet time, eg. early in the morning, then I can be pretty sure of having an empty space each side. I don't mind the extra walk as it is good exercise, for me and my daughter!

Even if I can't get an empty space each side I can still manage because I have a small car. I can imagine that people with large cars would find a normal space too tight for comfort so they must be tempted to use P & T spaces when shopping without kids.

We should be grateful that the supermarkets provide at least some P & T spaces. They can't be expected to police who uses them. If there were more P & T spaces there would be less spaces in total and it would be difficult to park anywhere.

Just a thought.

as most of us don't seem to mind walking abit for a bigger space maybe we should ask the supermarkets to put parent and toddlers spaces away from the front of the shops so the lazy sods of the world could paark closer!!! i've also asked a person before why when they didn't have a child have they parked in the p& t space and they said they were disabled and there were no spaces left for them there. she had no wheel chair and needed no space and when i pointed out closer to the shop spaces she just gave me such an evil look that i am now afarid to ask

I think it would be better if there were no p&t parking but that the car parking spaces were laid out more like those at Costco. Plenty of space either side.
