WIBU to buy 7 of the same jumper

I picked a jumper up in town on Friday and wore it to work today and I am OBSESSED with it.

It's so soft and cosy and warm but not bulky. It's plain enough to go with anything but has a small amount of shoulder and sleeve detailing in exactly my style. It's the perfect length, it's slimming.

It's perfect for work and would also look dressy with some skinny jeans and heeled boots for an evening out.

WIBU to buy 3 more in one colour (so 4 all together) and two in a different colour or have I completely lost my mind??

I have basically found the perfect jumper and I never want to wear anything else.

I would. I used to have the same cardigan in 4 colours and if i find jeans I like I buy 2 pairs.

I would definitely buy it! I'm a fussy shopper so I usually do this, maybe not 7 times but at least 2!

Do it, I had the perfect jumper and I wish I’d bought more. It fell apart and I spent years looking for it on eBay. Actually found it once and then forgot to up my bid and lost out. I’ve never really got over it

My DH does this but ramped up, so like 15 of the same jumper

Have you tried washing it? My washing machine loves to snack on our favourite jumpers.

7 night be excessive, but 2 in a colour you wear a lot and a couple of others is reasonable.

I do that with cream/white jumpers because of the risk of pit marks over time.

I once owned the perfect jumper (from Joules, of all places) and I frequently regret not buying several in each colour. I've worn holes in the only one I have because I wear it so often.

Not unreasonable at all. I've got 3 cardigans the same in different colours and about 6 joules shirts in different patterns.

And about 15 pairs of doc martens.

I would - I often buy something, find I love it and decide I need another, only to discover it's been discontinued or something. This year I got some M&S jeggings which I really like so I bought 5 different colours, and then two more black pairs, and I wear them most days.

I have the same trousers in 5 colours
The same jumper in 3 colours
3 identical pairs of shoes (all black)
2 pairs of shoes the same but in different colours
3 different pairs of shoes the same but in different colours
2 pairs of boots the same but different colours
(I have size 9 feet, I get very excited when I find shoes that fit)

I am glad I am not BU - I generally never find clothes I like so to find something I like that looks nice on me is a revelation.
