WIBU to buy 7 of the same jumper

I picked a jumper up in town on Friday and wore it to work today and I am OBSESSED with it.

It's so soft and cosy and warm but not bulky. It's plain enough to go with anything but has a small amount of shoulder and sleeve detailing in exactly my style. It's the perfect length, it's slimming.

It's perfect for work and would also look dressy with some skinny jeans and heeled boots for an evening out.

WIBU to buy 3 more in one colour (so 4 all together) and two in a different colour or have I completely lost my mind??

I have basically found the perfect jumper and I never want to wear anything else.

@Samaranian Hahaha! In my old office we had an awful middle-manager who tried to get HR to put it in the dress code that men had to wear ties. They correctly told him, in only slightly politer words, that they really didn’t give the slightest shit Grin

Where's the link??

Dementornator · 17/09/2019 14:38

My mum gave me this beautiful boyfriend cardigan for Xmas last year. It was so soft, perfect length, fit amazingly. I looked online and bought one in every colour they had! I also get boots in different colours, if I find a pair that fit me well. I’m between sizes so it’s hard to get a good fit

I should start a clothing line called Carpe Cardi.Grin

I really shouldn't, I've the fashion sense of a 4 year old.

Are you sure of the quality? I bought and fell in love with a gorgeous navy cotton jumper from Gap last year. It was ribbed with a boat neckline and three quarter length sleeves. After wearing it all the time I bought a second navy one and the three other colours it was available in. I loved it but soon realised that after being washed a few times it got very baggy and out of shape quickly when I was wearing it. It needed a bit of lycra in the mix. From having five perfect jumpers I ended up with a larger charity shop pile.

That's a nice jumper and the sort of thing I'd buy, in fact petite would never fit me but I'm really considering buying the very similar eyelet jumper from their tall range. I find a lot of times you put an outfit together then have to shove a less than perfect jumper/cardi/hoodie over the top so having a few of a jumper you love can only be a good thing.

I did a proper guffaw @PerkingFaintly Grin

I've a good selection of colours in jeggings and polo necks from M&S - just makes mornings easier sometimes. @BikeRunSki can I ask where you get shoes from please?

BikeRunSki · 17/09/2019 16:48

@northernstars, mostly Clark’s, although I have found very big 8s in White Stuff and DMs in the past, which account for sone of the multiples.

Letthemysterybe · 17/09/2019 17:59

It’s very frustrating when people talk about their perfect clothes, and don’t provide a link !

Samaranian · 17/09/2019 18:35

There is a link!! But here is a picture in case.

On the subject of not buying multiples and regretting it, I have been on the hunt for a certain bra and certain pants from M&S that I bought about 6 months ago and declare to be the best bra and pants in the whole world and I cannot find them anywhere Angry lesson learned.

My multiples are extremely dull, but here are the trousers I have in black, navy, burgundy, grass green and teal Richmond trousers. I have very bulbous calf muscles and usually have trouble with getting trousers over them, but these are ok.

Ericaceae · 17/09/2019 19:03

I have that jumper in black. Washed 3 times so far, and so far so good Grin
