Enough to prompt a neighbour to call police?

The ones who announce they are lawyers are never lawyers.

Oh my the speculation and hyperbole on this thread because it's about Boris. If it was Meghan Markle it would have been zapped by comment five.

It doesn't matter if you like him or not. No one knows what happened. Annnnnnd the timing is very very convenient.

Patroclus · 21/06/2019 23:55

They will have filmed it by video on the phone and taken the sound off it.

omione · 21/06/2019 23:56

@Patroclus

The "Right wing slime" comment is not nice.

I tend to vote Lib Dem in GE's. Are they right wing slime now?

I just don't believe in jumping to conclusions and I don't like the witch-hunt element I'm seeing on this thread. If it turns out he's been violent towards her, then it's a different story altogether.

I had parents who argued angrily with yelling etc but there was no violence between them. I'm not saying it's healthy or ideal for a PM to do this. But it's also not cast iron evidence to convict him for domestic violence either as some suggest on this thread.

Totur · 21/06/2019 23:58

We're not allowed to comment on Meghan because she's mixed race so we're being racist merely mentioning her.

But Boris? They can't invent some ism against him so we can surely discuss our future leader?

Patroclus · 21/06/2019 23:58

Didnt use it to describe people. Used it to describe their foul minimising shit which they've been doing all day.

Bourdic · 21/06/2019 23:58

It doesn’t matter what the motives are of the neighbours - if C and B hadn’t been rowing and noisy then there would have been nothing to record. It’s an absolute fucking disgrace that they cannot behave themselves as they embark upon becoming our PM and partner - a fucking disgrace.

Totur · 21/06/2019 23:59

How about I use ABUSIVE BASTARD and BORIS in the same sentence?

@Patroclus

You call it "foul minimising shit" I call it, not jumping to conclusions as to what happened.

Literally not one person has suggested this on this thread. Why make stuff up.

HelenaDove · 22/06/2019 00:00

Neighbours dont usually report until they have reached the end of their tether with it. So its perfectly plausible that they had had enough of hearing it. e,g, the druggie downstairs and his girlfriend were shouting and throwing things around. DH and i didnt report it and it hasnt happened for a while.......and i dont trust the HA OR the police to protect us if we do report it.

Idontwanttotalk · 22/06/2019 00:00

"Maybe the neighbours were sick of hearing the same shit every night, finally reported it, finally took all details and finally went to the media."
What is the point of conjecturing about it?Maybe the plates were thrown by her? The point is no-one knows what happened except the 2 people involved.

I'm sorry that you experienced an abusive relationship but, just because you did, doesn't mean this is DV.

I remember as a child my mum breaking every piece of crockery in the kitchen against the door. My dad didn't do anything to warrant it. My mum was just frustrated and lacks the ability to communicate effectively due to her childhood life. If that had been recorded I dread to think what the police would have thought about it.

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 22/06/2019 00:01

Totur
So now you are accusing me of lying.

Just because I would like to hear the evidence rather that a 2nd hand partial summary.

What happened to you was wrong but right now none of us can do anything but speculate if this is a similar situation.

The police denying they attended looks bad.

This is the man who closed ten fire stations. This is the force that the Grenfell residents are being told to put their faith and their trust in......

headinhands · 22/06/2019 00:02

‘how fucking stupid do you have to be to get into a blazing, overhearable row in the run up to a leadership election’.

Yup. Could you imagine this going on at No.10? If they'd had kids I suspect SS would have been notified.

BertrandRussell · 22/06/2019 00:03

I didn’t read right wing slime as describing people. More the markers and fingerprints of that particular type of right wing misogyny that sounds as if it emerges from golf clubs in the Home Counties. The “The Ladies-God bless ‘em and remind ‘em of their place” mind set. It’s different to left wing misogyny, which is also a thing.

Totur · 22/06/2019 00:03

Aw. Clearly Boris is being abused by his new girlfriend. Poor man has nowhere to go.

I’m actually scared about what this country has become.

BJ has been sacked twice.
He’s lied repeatedly during the EU referendum.
He’s been married twice and had numerous affairs.
We aren’t allowed to know whether or not he has one or more “love children”.
Now we have a woman on tape shouting at him to “get off me” and “get out of my flat”

And people are still defending him.

We’re the laughing stick if the world become of Brexit and it’s just about to get a whole lost worse!
