light-hearted (well, semi!!😃)
I thought I would start a thread for those who want to vent off if they are having a shitty day so far. My day has NOT started well. It is pissing down this morning, I am a dog walker and was waking a dog along a path and a complete tosser van driver, drove passed me, driving at speed, through a puddle. There was no way he couldn’t have not seen the puddle, it was huge, and Sod’s law I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, there where no other cars on the road, he didn’t have to go through it, I am sure he did it for pleasure, the utter fuckwit!! The result was exactly like this photo, think that Bridget Jones scene!

People.

Dollywilde · 10/06/2019 20:47

It’s Monday, I’m skint, it’s raining, I woke up with a headache, had a crappy day at work and didn’t manage to keep to my diet. Oh and we have builders in at the moment so I came home to dust everywhere.

Now lying with the cat on me listening to the rain though so that’s something. Also just remembered I have a g+t can in the fridge which I should not drink on a Monday, but so tempted...

I am having a peri menopausal rage day AngryEverything and everyone (apart from the dog) is pissing me off....

Careradvice2019 · 10/06/2019 20:50

A child whom I look after , he's very challenging and I honestly thought I was the only member of staff that was able to calm him ... he turned on me earlier for no reason other than I told him off .... it was disappointing as I honestly thought I was the main one he actually trusted

MIL gave my 1 yo a full apple just before his dinner. So guess what he didn't eat his dinner 😡

SisyphusHadItEasy · 10/06/2019 21:00

Sorry, but I have had a great day. I promise to have a worse one tomorrow 🙃

Me and 11 month old DD are floored with a terrible cold. Pounding headache, nose running like a tap, congested sinuses complete with ear ache and it's now moving swiftly down into our chests.

DD is beside herself struggling to cope, cant blow her nose yet, not keeping food down, throwing up alot of phlegm, unable to take her bottle because she cant breathe through her nose. But I'm keeping her topped up with calpol and nurofen and trying to use the sucker thing to clear her nose which is a huge fight!

I'm 34 weeks pregnant so I'm fecked. I cant take anything!

The reason I'm pissed off tho, is I told my 18 year old DD (yep, huge age gap Grin) not to visit if she is ill. She works in a care home and picks up everything!

She decided to visit last week anyway. When I questioned her after she coughed a few times she shrugged it off and made an excuse, something about needing to drink more water.

I text her today to tell her we are ill and she text back admitting she had a terrible cold that started in her head and sinuses which went into her chest!!! Angry

She did this to us a couple months ago with the noro virus! Swore blank the outbreak at her work was all over, then found out after another of her visits it wasn't and we all got sick!!

Great thread! Rant over Grin

The teenager allowing precisely 15 minutes from asleep to school. Angry and being all laid back about it.

Apart from being very tired - absolutely nothing. My daughter got married yesterday. It was the most perfect day. I’m still all gooey-eyed! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Everyone and everything.

But especially the never-stops-eating 14 year old and the never-stops-chattering 7 year old.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I’m feeling so grizzly.

ReganSomerset · 10/06/2019 21:13

Someone changed lanes (queue hopping) as I approached traffic lights, forcing me to brake. They then nipped through on Amber while I was stuck behind the red light. Grr.

gotmychocolateimgood · 10/06/2019 21:13

Rain, long term illness, headache, being cold.

Sparklesocks · 10/06/2019 21:16

I woke up about an hour before my alarm went off, great - back to sleep for a snooze! But then I woke up after I’d dropped back into a deep sleep so I was at the wrong point in the cycle and it was really hard to open my eyes.

The Rain!!

The bus was obviously packed as it was pouring, that’s to be expected. We were all standing in the aisle but there was still lots of room, we were all single file and a woman just..stood right behind me, despite there being room on both sides she squeezed behind me. She stood so close she was basically between my bum cheeks, it was bizarre. No idea why you’d make yourself and other people uncomfortable for no reason.

PookieDo · 10/06/2019 21:17

I am working my last weeks notice at work and it is boring and I am fed up of being there

Bathed the dog as he got muddy and he won’t let me clean his eyes up he then on purpose dropped his favourite toy in his water bowl and is now crying for it while it dries on the radiator

I’m not pissed off with him I am on my horrible period!

I seem to have lost my glasses that should live in my handbag. Took a rescue greyhound for a walk today, and waited ages to get him, then ages for them to take him back in, which meant I didn't have time to take the 2nd greyhound I would normally take. There are political rows going on in two different committees I am on, just about willy-waving, no principles being at take, and I am properly naffed off with them!

MatchSetPoint · 10/06/2019 21:25

Both my children (under 5) have really bad watery diarrhoea..... why can nobody wipe their own bottoms or change their own nappy, I’m sick of the sight of poop!

letsdolunch321 · 10/06/2019 21:27

Fuckers driving on motorway with no lights on. It was pissing down as well !!! .... WANKERS

lampygirl · 10/06/2019 21:30

A whole series of people who tried to make their piss poor planning my emergency at work. Just be better. I went to work with a long list of things that needed doing and managed to achieve none of them because every single customer seemed to demand I dropped what I was trying to achieve to sort out their lack of organisation. Even typing this is making my blood boil!

Gide · 10/06/2019 21:30

A parent who’d rather give in to her child’s sulking/unreasonable demands (15 yr old) than listen to 2 professionals telling her how to improve her academic progress. Actually horrifying. Gone are the days of parents thinking teachers know how to best help their dc. I’m not saying they should blindly adhere to what we say, that would be dangerous, but blimey, we do generally know how to support kids through their GCSEs.

Jellyshoeswithdiamonds · 10/06/2019 21:30

Drivers on the motorway, heavy rain, lots of spray. Only day running lights, so no rear lights on.

Fgs, put lights on when you use your wipers. It's not rocket science!
