To ask what has pissed you off so far today?........

I thought I would start a thread for those who want to vent off if they are having a shitty day so far. My day has NOT started well. It is pissing down this morning, I am a dog walker and was waking a dog along a path and a complete tosser van driver, drove passed me, driving at speed, through a puddle. There was no way he couldn’t have not seen the puddle, it was huge, and Sod’s law I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, there where no other cars on the road, he didn’t have to go through it, I am sure he did it for pleasure, the utter fuckwit!! The result was exactly like this photo, think that Bridget Jones scene!

If you ask someone (me) for examples of why I want someone (an adult) to be a bit more thoughtful in what they say, don’t kick off and send multiple messages to me which based on the first few words are nasty rants about me just because you don’t like the answer. The whole reason I made the request is that I need to keep stress levels low as I mentioned when I made my initial request (and it was politely done), and you have now sent my stress levels sky high and affected the whole delicate situation.
But hey, I should be used to it by now......

So sorry to hear that @Scottishgirl85 makes my ‘woke at 2am’ fairly insignificant

I told dh to do X but, unsurprisingly, he has done Y which means instead of drifting off back to sleep (day off) I have to get up in 30 minutes. May get back into bed after but chances are I'll be wide awake. I gave him clear instructions to avoid this and it still happened. Arsehole.

i woke up on the wrong side of the bed yesterday and then two two things really pissed me off. I'm still mad about it this morning so i'll vent. the first is perfectly rational but then the second is not and im sure ill be called a bitch. so firstly, someone who lives near me was driving past me on a country road and for the second time since last winter he was texting and nearly hit me. I really want to report him but I like him in general and my husband gets on well with him. the second, grr this has got me so mad, my dd is starting school in sept. a small class of 8, 4 girls 4 boys, well I found out yesterday that the biggest little shit in the nursery will be in her class and im gutted. he hits, he shouts, hes just a massive disruption and I really wish he wasn't going to school yet. I had thought he must have another year in nursery but obviously not. the other children are all so lovely yet this one seems to spend most of his day on the carpet for being disruptive. I hope he settles down over the summer, I cannot stand children who hit. rant over

DD was up for the day at 4.20 and then wanted to nap at 5.45 (when I have to get up for work)

The bus took half an hour longer than usual

I've had a headache for 2 days

I bought a can of coke at the breakfast place which cost £1.25 (!!!!!) and then left it there

Also, dog had explosive diarrhoea yesterday (due to medication) - he needed to be taken out 7 times during the night! I'm exhausted.

scottishgirl I’m so sorry. That is so utterly shit.

I got the job application done. I stayed up until 2.30, then worked on it again from 7-8 this morning. Submitted it with the formatting still wonky as I didn’t have time to sort it out. The personal statement was a bit shit too. I’m not sure why I bothered to be honest.

At least the rain has stopped. Hope everyone’s day improves!
