light-hearted (well, semi!!😃)
I thought I would start a thread for those who want to vent off if they are having a shitty day so far. My day has NOT started well. It is pissing down this morning, I am a dog walker and was waking a dog along a path and a complete tosser van driver, drove passed me, driving at speed, through a puddle. There was no way he couldn’t have not seen the puddle, it was huge, and Sod’s law I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, there where no other cars on the road, he didn’t have to go through it, I am sure he did it for pleasure, the utter fuckwit!! The result was exactly like this photo, think that Bridget Jones scene!

@WhiteLightTrainWreck your dog sounds like one of my children

Thatsalovelycuppatea · 10/06/2019 22:25

My daughter blamed me for all our problems. Shouted at me for an hour. All because she is jealous of her friend. Dreading when she is a teenager....

Namechangeishard · 10/06/2019 22:28

My day has been fine, about to end shittily with an ASD teenage meltdown. Why can’t you just go to blasted bed for ONCE when you are asked? Sad

Historydweeb · 10/06/2019 22:29

Walking into work to find door locked and no staff. Go and see the office to find out WTF and being told "oh you haven't got any electrics, didn't anyone call you not to come in??" No. They didn't, and I'd have stayed in bed if they had

pintsizedblondie · 10/06/2019 22:30

My 10 hour flight home being delayed 2.5 hours so far and being back to work tomorrow Angry

PinkGlitter123 · 10/06/2019 22:33
  1. Work.
  2. Getting from A to B in this rain.
  3. Thinking about a rude and thoughtless comment someone made to me a few days ago and wishing I had given them what for 😐
ssd · 10/06/2019 22:35

I've got nothing to moan about really but I don't usually let that stop me.

Hesperatum · 10/06/2019 22:36

A14, M6 Roadworks, lorries, rain!

WhiteLightTrainWreck · 10/06/2019 22:37

@whatareyoudoingneil if that is normal, can I count this as good practice for when my DC arrives next month? 😂

TitianaTitsling · 10/06/2019 22:39

Being annoyed with myself for caring too much about how my family treat me and my child (and DH!) It's pathetic of me as it's social media that gets me upset, but that my 'D' M and her fawning over distant relatives whilst having no interest in DC, I really should block it all!

Whatsername7 · 10/06/2019 22:40

Ofsted calling. Ruined my Monday.

cheesemongery · 10/06/2019 22:41

Managed to snag my toe in my old worn pj trousers which made me step into and on the entire trouser leg and fall forwards towards the bath, saving myself by pulling the shower curtain down and doing a spin with it before landing on my arse.

That was 2 hours before I'd encountered the driving puddle cunts.

DogHasEatenTheSqueaker · 10/06/2019 22:43

Dog smuggling in sticks and chipping them on the kitchen floor. No matter how often I sweep, there is always stick. Stick everywhere. Fucking stick. Hmm

SingleMumFighting · 10/06/2019 22:45

Rogue trader has stolen my deposit for urgent repairs and is now pretending he does not know anything about the works. Its all written down in emails!

Loftyswops988 · 10/06/2019 22:45

a coworker who clearly woke up on the wrong side of bed and seemed to spend the day on some sort of power trip micromanaging some newer and younger colleagues. I have no time for that!

PlanBea · 10/06/2019 22:46

I spent 30 minutes today explaining to someone paid twice what I'm paid how to calculate a percentage. It wasn't even someone from our department, I don't know why someone from their own department couldn't take the time to do it

sue51 · 10/06/2019 22:47

The M25.

sockatoe · 10/06/2019 22:49

My husband, mansplaining what it is I need to tell the dr about my child tomorrow. The child I have been primary career for for over 3 years whilst husband is mostly at work before breakfast and home after bedtime. The child, for whom I have made the medical appointment as a result of my concerns.
The second thing which made me cross was the fact I was cross with my husband which then caused me to flounce off to the supermarket, full of crossness, without my purse. Bollocks.

Weedinosaurus · 10/06/2019 22:51

Passive aggressive work emails with management ccd in.
Pointless hoop jumping paperwork tasks and spreadsheets when I actually just want to get on with the parts of my job that actually matter.

Muddy dog footprints everywhere and dog hair even though I just bloody hoovered and mopped.

thisismeusernameything · 10/06/2019 22:56

My dearest friends brother is in the final stages of stomach cancer. He’s 36. His children are 5 and 1. Friends mum died this time last year of the same thing. Friend has pre cancerous cells in her saliva. She’s a single parent with a 5 year old.

My windscreen wiper stopped working in the puss pouring rain this morning. It was an interesting 30 seconds until I could safely pull over.

Everything is relative

HagridsBigToe · 10/06/2019 22:58

Oooh its the end of the day!
Firstly, my car is out of action, so I had to get the bus to work. Two buses, in fact. So: all the people who have to stand on a crowded bus and don't move down the bus to make room for people getting on.
Second, the people who stand up and start moving down the aisle of the bus before it even gets to the terminal. Just why?

honeylulu · 10/06/2019 23:00

Ceiling over my desk fell down at work today, rainwater poured over my computer, wrecking it. I had soooooo much to do.

WFH tomorrow, yay!

LuannC · 10/06/2019 23:02

Numerous things, as follows:
The weather today! 20min bus journey followed by 20min walking to nursery not fun with a toddler!
My ex saying he needs to find a new nice gf whose positive towards him and our ds (ds lives with his dad) this statement puzzled me as why would you even say that to me?!
A man I've been talking to (has busy life with 2jobs & looking after parent) hasnt picked up the phone to me in 5 days and never has credit to reply to texts...
We ran out of milk.

ReadyForActionRyderSir · 10/06/2019 23:04

Ds3 keyworker at nursery telling me she's leaving to go to another nursery

He adores her

I felt like a shit mum as I know he will miss her

Put me in a bad mood all day 😕

ragged · 10/06/2019 23:05
