To think we won’t have a warm summer this year

The weather has been rubbish apart from the odd nice day. When is it going to start warming up 😩😩

OP posts:
Butterfly3005 · 02/06/2019 19:00

Still plenty of time yet, it's not officially summer until 21st June.

fedup21 · 02/06/2019 19:01

It’s been gorgeous all week here!

Writersblock2 · 02/06/2019 19:01

It’s been muggy as hell down here

TapasForTwo · 02/06/2019 19:03

There are some on here already complaining that the thermometer has dared to peek over double figures.

We haven't had any summer where we live except for Easter.

FuzzyPuffling · 02/06/2019 19:03

It's been really warm and sunny here (Cornwall) for days. My water butts have run out of water for the second time this year.

TheFirstOHN · 02/06/2019 19:03

A lovely cool summer (with no heatwaves) would be wonderful. Here's hoping...

CasperGutman · 02/06/2019 19:03

It's been fine here, and unusually dry. I can tell by the big gap around the side gate that normally sticks!

TapasForTwo · 02/06/2019 19:03

It seems like there has been a definite north south divide weatherwise recently.

my2bundles · 02/06/2019 19:05

As another poster said it's not even officially summer yet 😂 give it time.

Guadalquivir19 · 02/06/2019 19:05

Cold, wet & miserable up here

ControversialFerret · 02/06/2019 19:37

We had some nice days in April (NW) and it was quite dry. More rain recently but the temperatures have come up and there's been sunny days.

Loopytiles · 02/06/2019 19:38

I prefer it drab when I have to work!

How hot is your heatwave Hippo?

MaryPopppins · 02/06/2019 19:41

It was too hot for me today! I'd welcome a mild summer!

I'm currently in the bath trying to soak all the sun cream grime off!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 02/06/2019 19:41

I got sunburnt today and yesterday. South east is hot enough!

TapasForTwo · 02/06/2019 19:42

It has been 18 degrees where I am. Jumper weather for me.

JellyBabiesSaveLives · 02/06/2019 19:46

16 degrees in Yorkshire, T-shirt and cropped trousers weather Smile

SherlockSays · 02/06/2019 19:47

Yorkshire has been rubbish this weekend, literally can't make its mind up. The evenings have been the best but I'm too tired to make anything of them.

LeslieYep · 02/06/2019 19:47

36 weeks pregnant, so the cooler the better for me!!

hereiam19 · 02/06/2019 19:49

North of Ireland here such crap weather atm hour or two without rain seems great!

Yeah I’ve got a bad feeling. The most we get is 2 good sunny days in a row, then you can bet it will rain. And it’s not hot enough for me unless it’s 20 degrees or over.

MyMumDimensionJumps · 02/06/2019 19:52

I'm on maternity leave, so probably won't be hot. Sods law isn't it?

That said, wouldn't want too much of a scorcher with a young baby anyway.

Managed to get burnt yesterday, so can't be that bad, but the week ahead is looking a bit bleak.

Emmabryant123 · 02/06/2019 19:54

I am hoping it's nothing like last year's hell

I don't like it when it's hotter than 20c and really struggle when it's above 23c
Last summer had me in tears
