The weather has been rubbish apart from the odd nice day. When is it going to start warming up 😩😩

I'd like it around 15c all year round wishful thinking

Likethebattle · 03/06/2019 17:47

Been crap in Glasgow. Send a bit of that warmth up here! Bloody Gulf Stream makes it so changeable.

TapasForTwo · 03/06/2019 17:57

chillychicken I think there must be some very localised microclimates for there to be such a wide variation in temperatures.

LovelyJubblee · 03/06/2019 18:14

A normal British summer of childhood would be nice. Average of about 23-25 degrees. Didn't like that 30+ degree heat. Our houses are designed to keep heat in here so it's stifling.

I'm more than happy with 30+ warmth. As long as we keep the windows and doors shut, our house stays cool. I sleep under a 13 tog duvet year round.

MummyCool19 · 07/06/2019 17:45

Where is the summmerrrrr 😩😩😩

Well it is now summer and it's been generally warm so far, a bit of rain here and there but nothing heavy. I quite like the weather at the moment.

MummyCool19 · 07/06/2019 17:48

Ahh we’ve had proper down pours today, like it hasn’t stopped chucking it down 😩

OP posts:
haverhill · 07/06/2019 17:49

It’s been very wet and cool in Oxfordshire today

Ivy44 · 09/06/2019 17:37

Raining since Friday, here in Manchester. Sunny for a couple of hours on Sunday morning. Still quite warm though.

MummyCool19 · 10/06/2019 07:55

This is ridiculous now 😩😩😩😩

I prefer it cool and damp and I hate it when it's really hot like last year.

If you're waiting for the hot weather though, I've noticed that it's generally the hottest in July and then cools down for the summer holidays. That's the point I start to look forward to September and autumn setting in.

MummyCool19 · 10/06/2019 08:06

I’m just really starting to worry about the weather for the wedding lol

@fresh
I agree re July being nice. Northern monsoon kicks in about the 2nd week of August, then we usually have a mini heatwave towards the end of September.

TheTitOfTheIceberg · 10/06/2019 14:05

I'd like a number starting with '2' to appear occasionally, I'm fed up of mid-teens at best, maximum of a couple of sunny days then clouds and rain (NE England).

LoadsaBlusher · 10/06/2019 14:58

Scotland has been rain since Easter weekend
My DC still wearing winter jackets to school and still using our central heating in the evening.

WellTidy · 10/06/2019 15:04

Cold and very wet in London today. Heating is on in the evenings and early mornings chez us. Not all bad news though, as we had turf laid almost a month ago which is doing very well indeed with all this rain.

Darksideofthemoon19 · 11/06/2019 15:01

It’s still so rubbish 😩😔

ALongHardWinter · 11/06/2019 16:26

I can but hope. I certainly don't want a repeat of last summer! And if I see the sentence 'light, floaty dress are the way to cope with the heat',I swear I shall scream! NOTHING makes heat like we had last summer, bearable. Sorry. Rant over.

RomanyQueen · 11/06/2019 16:30

NW has been awful rom friday, a couple of ok days last week, nothing to write home about.
