It's sweet. It's like having your burger in a Belgium bun.

And while I'm at it, just put the bloody burger with or without the brioche on a plate. If I wanted to eat out of a wrapper I'd go to McDonalds.

I saw brioche burger buns in Aldi the other day. I gagged.

I love burgers, I love brioche.... But together it's disgusting.

It's weird, all sweet and just no.
Tbf I'm not keen on brioche anyway, but then I don't really like sweet foods much.

Oh I love a brioche burger but agree, it is sweet with savoury which some people really dislike.

Absolutely, brioche should never go near a burger. It's a horrible taste combination and the bun generally disintegrates. Ugh

Too right. I’ve been puzzled by this for some time, it’s the wrong texture too. But a halloumi burger is very nice in a ciabatta roll.

You are WRONG. Brioche burgers are delicious.

But I do agree that if you start to think about it too much it sounds gross.

Isn't that the whole purpose of a burger bun?! To maintain its structural integrity so you can eat with with minimal mess???

Guess what we are having for dinner tonight!

I love the combination - but I don't think the Sainburys ones are that sweet - no sweeter than the cheap burger buns you get in McDonalds anyway.

And I've had brioche buns before in a sausage / bacon type affair which were just grim and far too sweet.
