To think brioche bread does not go with burgers

It's sweet. It's like having your burger in a Belgium bun.

Brioche burgers are delicious.
But I do agree that if you start to think about it too much it sounds gross.

I don't think hot meat goes with bread so even burger buns don't go with burgers imv.
I think it was a US marketing idea to get rid of poorer quality meat.

YANBU. I like a nice turkish bun for a burger, or a pretzel, but not cake.

Plates would be nice too. I really thought that the silly trend for a breadboard, greaseproof paper and a mug would have disappeared years ago already.

I love brioche buns with a burger - as long as the brioche isn't too sweet.

Chicken goes really well with mango, or whth bread sauce, or sliced apple; and all of those are sweet?!

Thr brioche burger buns aren't the overly sweet ones though, they are more buttery and salty, than sweet. Very different from the ones you get as a dessert basically.

Brioche is lovely with chocolate chips, with burgers it's awful, completely the wrong taste and it's too filling to have with a burger anyway.

I don't like any bread with a burger.

I'm clearly in the minority as I love brioche bread with burgers. I've gone out of my way (visited two shops instead of just going to one...😂) just to get them before.

And now I really fancy one for tea.
