Anyone want to play a game? I was just reading an article with this picture and realised I know exactly where this is.

It has a massive clue in the picture, which anyone who knows this part of London will recognise immediately.

Can anyone say where this is?

Or do you have one to share?

It's a very budget supermarket. I think it closed a couple of years ago.

I'm not going to say the name as I just googled it and it gave me the location! (With a shop with a different name).

Yes, it's Stamford Hill. The Hassidic guy was the massive clue (and it's obviously not Golder's Green - no Nettos in Golders Green!)

I was also thinking Stamford Hill because of the yellow building, but that yellow building is also suggesting Golders Green where the cinema used to be. Although I'm not sure there were houses opposite.

Could also be Stoke Newington of course but that's going more by the people in the picture rather than the area as I don't know it very well.

So yeah, I'd probably plump for Stamford Hill.

I used to live just down the road in Stoke Newington (28-29 years ago). Did my shopping at Safeway, Stamford Hill.
