Anyone want to play a game? I was just reading an article with this picture and realised I know exactly where this is.

It has a massive clue in the picture, which anyone who knows this part of London will recognise immediately.

Can anyone say where this is?

Does anybody know which town this is in? No idea who the bloke is, but what he's standing on is a big clue for anybody who knows it!

@pigsDOfly Just in case you are interested, the cinema that was near the clock tower in Golders Green (Sainsburys) in the old days had the end of the shops opposite (where Lindys used to be) and then houses.

The other cinema that used to be in Golders Green Road, at the end where the garden centre used to be (1980's) has shops opposite, no houses that end. Most of that part has changed a great deal.

The residential part is in between the 2 lots of shops, from where the Library is up to the part where the kiddies shoe shop is (used to be a nice linens shop there), but not so many residential houses, mainly surgeries and hotels that look like houses.

Some of it looks the same but a lot of it is unrecognisable. It has lost it's buzz and charm.

Thanks for that DontCallMeShitley. Yes it was the cinema near the Clock Tower I was thinking of. Wasn't my local cinema, we use to go to the cinema in Hendon and later, when it opened, the one in the Leisure complex in North Finchley.

Moved out of the area nearly twenty years ago so I imagine it's changed massively.

That's Stamford Hill.

I lived above the turnpike, just around the corner, for a while. Loved living there, one of the safest feeling places I've ever lived. This was about 15 years ago now though.

I got the Stamford Hill one.
The snail on the wall is next to Seven Sisters Road nearing Seven Sisters station and there is a Wickes on the other side of the road a bit further down.

Where the man is standing, is it where richard iii was found? A car park up north wasn't it?
