Don't want to make this a TAAT, so I'll just say I have enjoyed everyone's observations on the royal family and it's made a boring weekend go much quicker Grin

Please continue if you wish to......

Well then it’s just sweet poo whereas salad cream actually masks and counteracts it all.

TipseyTorvey · 28/04/2019 16:19

Okay I consider myself educated re salad now. Thanks everyone 🤣. I am not a sheltered person but totally not down with prison lingo obviously!

CaptainBrickbeard · 28/04/2019 16:20

I was really intrigued by the other thread but didn’t get as far as the vilification. Did someone on this thread really insult Meghan’s literacy levels and misspell the word ‘illiterate’ themselves several times? That was a ridiculous post. I can’t get on board with vitriol towards any of them but I cannot stop myself being fascinated by the lifestyles and outfits of the super-privileged.

Humpy84 · 28/04/2019 16:20

I would imagine, just imagine that to be the case,

Hmmmm I’m guessing Duchess will have her baby tomorrow. Off to bed Australian time but I wish you all luck on night duty.

Iamnotagoddess · 28/04/2019 16:23

@Humpy84

Well yes I guess salad cream on its own is quite over powering.

AuldJosey · 28/04/2019 16:23

Perhaps you should look up the word alliteration, then look up a certain duchesses initials.

MagicKingdomDizzy · 28/04/2019 16:23

I can now add the following things to the list of foods I can't eat:

Salad
Jam
Salad cream

What a shame, I really enjoyed those things too.....

I keep randomly laughing at the fact the other thread(s) had varied topics from the Queen Mother title to Gazza getting a hard on.

And to think sometimes people get really nippy when a thead goes off topic Grin

Pengrin · 28/04/2019 16:26

Grin it’s so bizarre

MindyStClaire · 28/04/2019 16:27

I still haven't finished the first thread and the second one is gone?! Bloody babies

CaptainBrickbeard · 28/04/2019 16:27

Oh, I get it. Surely should be alliterative then rather than alliterate?

MyBlueMoonbeam · 28/04/2019 16:27

@lyralalala

Yes Grin shame it got zapped would've been a great one for Classics Wink

Iamnotagoddess · 28/04/2019 16:28

Gazza used to live near me. Was well known by most taxi drivers and the bars Sad

WillGymForPizza · 28/04/2019 16:29

Oh I know who the daytime presenter is now. I think the insinuation was that she'd had some kind of breakdown over Christmas.

StealthPolarBear · 28/04/2019 16:29

I assumed the presenter was JF

AuldJosey · 28/04/2019 16:30

They were speaking in code.

That's where you use random words in a seemingly normal sentence.

It flew over your head, I'm sure it flew over quite a few more.

jellyfish70 · 28/04/2019 16:31

Jeez I've seen some awful comments on some threads but the people being commented on were not royal, so that's ok! Hmm

MagicKingdomDizzy · 28/04/2019 16:31

lyralalala the derailing is the best part, you never know where you'll end up!

However, on topic, despite news of the affair being all over social media for days, there is still no response from the palace. Surely it gets to a point where they simply have to address it?

Or are they just hoping and praying that the baby hurries up and makes and appearance and we'll all forget about it??

Jesus every day's a school day Shock

AuldJosey · 28/04/2019 16:34

Well what can the Palace say?

Yes, the rumours are true or No, the rumours are a dirty filthy salad cream campaign.......

ByeClaire · 28/04/2019 16:34

The 2nd thread was brilliant. Really annoyed it was zapped. I didn’t see the end of it, but it’s ridiculous that the first and then the 2nd could be kept up for so long when they were about the future King cheating, but yet one gets zapped because of rumours about the Alliterate One?

But obviously I love Meghan. I’m really looking forward to the TV series her, Harry and Oprah are doing. Good on her keeping a really low profile and sticking to the traditions. No showboating (or yachting) for her.

chaosisaladder · 28/04/2019 16:35

The most slanderous thing I said about MM (who I do actually like - I appreciate a hustler! Grin) was that her belly-cupping has been excessive (it has, sorry Sussex Royal, but it has)

lyralalala · 28/04/2019 16:36

MagicKingdomDizzy I did almost cry laughing when the post after my explanation about the Queen Mother/King Mother thing was followed by one explaining tossed salad. Then swiftly followed by "Gary Linekar isn't as nice as people think".

Best thread journey ever!
