To think the UK media silence on the Prince William rumours is odd

Just that really. No idea if there's anything more than rumour and speculation, but it's all over social media that Prince William allegedly had an affair with one of Kate's friends, but there is a total media silence on it.
Pretty bizarre considering that Meghan Markle barely has to breathe and the media are covering it.

I find it strange that so many posters think William and Kate are the perfect fairytale couple and the idea of either of them cheating is impossible. We know virtually nothing about them other than what they portray when they are out together mostly working. Likewise with the notion of the RF being frugal by rewearing clothes. Yet their multiple homes. Multi million renovations, , holidays, cars and jewels are not taken into account. Baffling!

-William expresses his concerns about Meghan, Harry feels offended , and tells Meghan. Meghan is mad at Wills.
-sometime later William tells Harry he has a thing for Someone who lives close by . Harry tells Meghan I think William is having an Affair with Flower. Meghan tells someone , William and Flower have been an item for some time, that someone tells someone who knows Giles?

That explains why William looks like he is ignoring Meghan.

What I want to know is this...

If the affair happened in 2016 and people
were gossiping about it for a while, why wasn’t it in the tabloids/foreign media/twitter until 2019 ? This does fit the Meghan timeline. We assume the media knew about it in 2016 because of the random rose article about having “so much in common” with Kate. Unless it was just the dirty DM that knew at that stage.

What I'm saying - and I would have thought it was obvious - is that when you've only been with someone a short time (much of it long-distance), you're less likely to stray than if you'd been with someone for many years and routine has set in.

No, I don't have a study to back it up, but if you're interested I guess you could do your own research into the '7 year itch'.
