There have been some “raids” Perking, on the national broadcaster office ABC and (in an unrelated issue) a journalist’s house. I’m not certain how I feel about this, as at least in journalist’s case, classified information was revealed. It seems the Government it now looking for the source. With classified information, things get a bit murky on the ethical side.

I don't see why. Does he come all over embarrassed at the awkwardness of meeting a Cherokee or a Chickasaw because of the crimes his race committed against theirs? Merkel was not yet born 75 years ago, and nor was he, so neither of them was in a position to do anything in WWII.

A lot of Germans are extremely glad that Hitler was contained and no longer ruled their country, and that his power-group has mostly vanished; Merkel, who grew up under communism, is probably one of them.

Meanwhile all the world can see that Trump is a babbling fool, soon he'll be joining the ranks of Kim Jong Un, a toddler tryrant desperate for approval from the progressive countries run by grown ups

I think Pelosi feels that starting impeachment so close to campaign season will provide a 'rallying point' for Scrotus' supporters. A single issue to unite them behind him and give them a reason to continue to support him. It will also allow him to play the 'Persecution Card'. Plus when the Senate fails to impeach, he will claim vindication, just as he did with Barr's spin on the Mueller report.

To continue investigating him will allow a flow of revelations and information about him and his nefarious doings without the 'stigma' of impeachment proceedings. Which he would do his best to turn into a 3 ring circus of misinformation and obstruction.

The focus now should be on defeating him in 2020. If he's re-elected (God forbid) then turn the big guns on him and impeach away.

So this Flynn document is an interview with the FBI on 24 Jan 2017.

In it he talks of several discussions with Sergey Kislyak, but denies any memory of discussing the US expulsion of Russian diplomats (in response to the Russian attack on the US elections).

So, I think this is probably the document in which Flynn lies to the FBI (to which he later pleaded guilty).
