Eating my bowl of carby porridge in the rain and wondered this.

Help me feel better about my messy flat and share with me some un-mumsnetty thing you have done today?

I fed my boys a tin of beans for breakfast with shop bought bread (possibly a MN point for a cooked breakfast?)
I am only washing the shower curtain now as it was getting mouldy
I only got a shower just now
Eating a bowl of hot, carby porridge which is very nice.
My top floor flat is a mess and I don't care Smile

I’ve just used my toilet brush

Connieston · 04/04/2019 15:11

Leftover takeaway for my own breakfast and didn't get out of pjs til about 1pm. Kids at their dads and had an epic day of work yesterday so I regret nothing!

WellVersedInEtiquette · 04/04/2019 15:15

Bribed my three year old with Oreos to have his hair cut. At 10am!

seastargirl · 04/04/2019 15:18

Had a KFC in the car while 7 months pregnant! Should have got at least 5 more servings out of that chicken fillet!

managedmis · 04/04/2019 15:22

Nothing.

I'm a MN saint.

PortiaCastis · 04/04/2019 15:27

Went to the cash and carry and bought 24 bottles of el plonko red and 24 el plonko white,1000 coffee sachets,1500 teabags and 250 loo rolls then bought myself a huge cream doughnut and scoffed it then swore at another driver as the cheeky sod was blocking me in, now going to hairdressers for a mates rates (went to school with her) cut and colour but not by a "hair artist"

SecretWitch we sound scarily similar! ShockSmile

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 04/04/2019 16:16

Also, I haven't advised anyone on MN today to immediately go NC with their in laws based on the flimsiest reason on a thread which is clearly biased as fuck. Nor have I immediately decided that anyone's in laws sound toxic or narcissistic and that they actually have a DH problem as he is deep in FOG.

I will rectify this ASAP by finding a thread where a MIL gave a 35 month old DC a chocolate button without seeking permission from the OP and advise them of all the above.

JaffacakesAreCakesNotBiscuits · 04/04/2019 16:26

Have drank 3 energy drinks.
Had a day on my own as dd with GP. doest time EVER.. And I spend the day in bed and a coffee catch up with a friend in Peace. When I was meant to catch up on lots of stuff.
The cake is the only thing I've eaten. CBA to cook so ordering a greasy unhealthy kebab.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 04/04/2019 16:35

I had workmen round building a fence and I made them multiple hot drinks and allowed them to use my loo.

I took in a parcel for next door, and dropped it round.

I've also done some quite mumsnetty things too, namely looking at paint swatches (but not F&B Hague blue or Dulux timeless) and am about to cook a chicken which will no doubt feed us for several meals.

Alsohuman · 04/04/2019 16:43

You LET THEM USE YOUR LOO? Are you mad, woman? What's wrong with the petrol station?

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 04/04/2019 16:50

I drove to and from the shops - twice - with no problems whatsoever as nobody had parked across the end of my drive, even during the prime school-run times.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 04/04/2019 16:55

Alsohuman I know. And one of them left his gloves here as it was literally raining, snowing and sleeting all day so I've hung them on my radiator to dry.

1shotcappuccino · 04/04/2019 16:58

been out for lunch with D's - he had a glass of coke with his meal. Eaten an Easter egg this afternoon.

Home77 · 04/04/2019 17:02

I have been eating a huge Lindt bunny every weekend for weeks now. One each for the DCs as well. It's our Saturday treat. Blush

cloudymelonade · 04/04/2019 17:08

Had a pizza and a cream doughnut for my lunch and didn't even feel remotely guilty or describe it as 'naughty' or a 'treat', it was simply what I wanted for lunch.

Siameasy · 04/04/2019 17:36

Bought a bday present for Mil from DC because DH hadn’t bothered. Didnt LTB

DD will eat a peperami I expect when she gets in

Flashed another driver and gesticulated. (“Abusive” “be kind”) Then looked like a twat as I’d misinterpreted their moves. 😂

HelenaJustina · 04/04/2019 17:39

Took my DD to Confession (R.C)

DreamInDreamer · 04/04/2019 17:40

Spent nearly £150 on weekly shop. For one adult & 2 DCs. £35 seems to be the going rate on MN.

Home77 · 04/04/2019 17:41

I thought that meant become a flasher for a mo. flashed LIGHTs I see. Thought was getting a bit extreme.

Home77 · 04/04/2019 17:42

After spending £35 at Iceland and being frugal I then went on Waitrose online and spent the usual £100 as well - but do have nice ready prepared meals to do us over Easter holidays I guess.

I didn't make my bed as the dog was still in it. She usually sleeps at my feet under the duvet (great for cold feet!) but sneaks up to the warm spot as soon as I crawl out of bed and wraps the duvet round her. I don't change the bed clothes every week either - depends on how much hot chocolate I've spilled and how many Bonios have been eaten on the sheet.

What Un-Mumsnetty things have you done today?
RhiWrites · 04/04/2019 18:52

I went out in hail to play a mobile phone game. Deoxys raid in PokemonGO.

SneakyGremlins · 04/04/2019 18:54

Did you get it? @RhiWhites
