Eating my bowl of carby porridge in the rain and wondered this.

Help me feel better about my messy flat and share with me some un-mumsnetty thing you have done today?

I fed my boys a tin of beans for breakfast with shop bought bread (possibly a MN point for a cooked breakfast?)
I am only washing the shower curtain now as it was getting mouldy
I only got a shower just now
Eating a bowl of hot, carby porridge which is very nice.
My top floor flat is a mess and I don't care Smile

Me and ds5 spent all day yesterday in ph’s even when letting the delivery men bring in the new furniture. Today let ds have a fruit shoot and a slice of red velvet cake at soft play at 11am then a Greggs sausage roll in the way home. I am now letting him play on his switch whilst I think about sorting out the toy cupboard but instead read mn

I shagged my husband. I made him do the school run Grin

I’m not dressed and haven’t been all day. I will be in a minute because funeral

Texted DH to tell him to buy a toilet brush on the way home from work Grin

Errrgh woke up at 1 after a terrible nights sleep of epic portions. House is a mess, life is a mess, shared two strawberry yoghurts with dd 20 months I’m sure it’s horribly sugary.

Put on YouTube for her and now on mn both of us still in pjs 😔 today’s not working out great.

Boulezvous · 04/04/2019 13:43

I got up at 7am to take my lazy son to school - got back at 8.30 and went back to bed till 11am. Stepping over the pile of dirty washing that has been on the floor for a couple of days....

Nameisthegame · 04/04/2019 13:45

Just saw confused post, now googling where my local fire station is

VoyageInTheDark · 04/04/2019 13:45

Put CBeebies on for toddler and shared a chocolate lollipop with her (It was m&s dark choc and gluten free though)

Given up on housework for the day due to not feeling well

Gave DD spaghetti hoops for lunch

happilyevernever · 04/04/2019 13:47

I’ve cancelled my plans and me and 22 month old DS are watching CBeebies this morning, bed hasn’t been made and we had biscuits for breakfast.

anitagreen · 04/04/2019 13:50

I'm having an aero and a coffee for my lunch as my kids are driving me mad today

Purplejay · 04/04/2019 13:53

I allowed my 12 yo to go to school with nothing but a swig of Pepsi Max and then drove him there 🙄

I have the dryer on 👍🏻

Something that had been in the dishwasher came out still dirty so I just put it back in 😏

I sent a sweary text to my ex 😳

Littlecaf · 04/04/2019 13:58

When my 18m old goes down for a post lunch nap I bribe the 4 yo with the iPad so I can eat lunch in peace.

SecretWitch · 04/04/2019 13:58

Just made delicious coffee with my pod coffee machine. I am not taking a shower today because I don’t feel like it (have washed face, teeth and deodorant, so not totally mad) Took care of my brand new tattoo. Have no plans to get out of bed today. All three cats snuggled up in bed with me. Will order takeaway for tea. So there..

Home77 · 04/04/2019 14:02

Still on sofa in pjs. Only intend to get dressed to go and do a food shop (which will be extravagant by competitive low-cost MN shopping standards). I shall then lie back down on the sofa and watch more tv.

Home77 · 04/04/2019 14:09

Going to chuck out all the veg and still for DC's risotto - we were supposed to make it at home after he missed the lesson this week - it's a bit grotty now and can't face it.

I gave my two year old a cheestring before breakfast to shut him up so we could get out of the door*

Just as well you added the disclaimer. At first, given the context of the thread, I assumed that it was a colloquialism for a damned good hiding.

SecretWitch · 04/04/2019 14:14

Home77 Please come join me in my slatternly heaven! Do you fancy Indian or Chinese for tea?

Fazackerley · 04/04/2019 14:16

Spent £70 taking two of my teen children out for breakfast and lunch.

Northernlass99 · 04/04/2019 14:24

I have not washed my sheets for 24 hours Shock

citychick · 04/04/2019 14:45

Also my day off.
School run
Watched Queer Eye, then paid someone to clean the house.
Could've done it myself but no.

Home77 · 04/04/2019 14:58

We get a deliveroo sometimes, the DC love ordering it and watching it arrive. usually Wagamamas...

Thought about washing the sheets again, straightened them and turned the pillows round instead. Back in bed now. Got to do the school run later and don't want to wear myself out.
