Has anyone ever done a love spell and been successful? If so, what did the spell involve? Thanks.

Clearly that spell wasn’t very accurate and I fear it was just a coincidence.
Yes it was

Ginnymweasley · 03/04/2019 21:04

There is no love spell but love potions are what Voldemort mother used.... worked out well. She ended up dead and her offspring tried to destroy the world. I think it's best not to.... it's just not worth the risk.

BetterToHaveLovedAndLost · 03/04/2019 21:04

Low cut worked very well but I need him to arrange another drink for low cut part 2.

How would a love spell overcome obstacles?

You want him to be so in love with you he make decisions, that he wouldn't normally.

You dont love him then do you?

Samind · 03/04/2019 21:05

Well if you've done a love spell before and it's worked ....sort of.

BetterToHaveLovedAndLost · 03/04/2019 21:05

I haven’t seen or read Harry Potter.

@SurgeHopper Grin excellent answer!

OP, I'd tell you what you want to know, but I'm too busy beating all the men in love with me off with sticks (haven't you seen that episode of Buffy????)

Ginnymweasley · 03/04/2019 21:06

Neither have I... I lived it Grin

Greenlegobox · 03/04/2019 21:06

Have you tried getting him drunk? Very short lived unfortunately but it's probably as close as you're going to get.

Crustaceans · 03/04/2019 21:06

I suspect you are right @BadPennyNoBiscuit.

OP get yourself a geumganggo from the mystical general store. And then you can have an unwilling love slave who says horrible things to you. See image.

I think I want the love spell to give him courage.

OP posts:
Jessgalinda · 03/04/2019 21:07

You mean vodka, op.

Bankofenglandfiver · 03/04/2019 21:07

It’s a load of shite.

Samind · 03/04/2019 21:07

I was going to quote the wizard of oz.....

RedHatsDoNotSuitMe · 03/04/2019 21:07

Don't worry too much, OP. Harry Potter isn't actually a manual for real-life. But the books are VERY good. I'd recommend them over manipulation of another human being any day.

Crustaceans · 03/04/2019 21:08

Tell us about this love spell that sort of worked. Did it involve dancing anti-clockwise around a pot in the moonlight?

BetterToHaveLovedAndLost · 03/04/2019 21:08

I think getting him drunk would be ideal but I need to get him into a pub first, which is proving tricky.

WarpedGalaxy · 03/04/2019 21:08

Sounds rapey to me. How would you feel if it were the other way around OP? Someone you’re not attracted to putting you under a spell to get into your pants perhaps? You wouldn’t care if it never wore off so you were unaware? How do you feel about someone keeping you permanently doped up on rohypnol and never allowing that to wear off? That’s be ok right? Not like you’d be aware of what was happening. Don’t know about anyone else but it makes me kinda glad magic spells aren’t real.

Jessgalinda · 03/04/2019 21:08

What's tricky about 'you fancy a drink?'

Jengnr · 03/04/2019 21:09

Be careful.

I’ve seen plenty of love spells go awry...you could end up with the whole male population of your town trying to break into your friend’s house to kill you. Your friend might get turned into a rat. There could be bank robberies, a high school principal could be at serious risk from a rocket launcher, a fellow witch might try and change the sex of your intended with magic or one of your loved ones might lie on train tracks...

No good will come of this.

Crustaceans · 03/04/2019 21:09

PP’s are right. If he isn’t married/already involved elsewhere, then getting him drunk would seem as good a plan as any.

Crustaceans · 03/04/2019 21:10

Why is getting him into a pub tricky?

Ginnymweasley · 03/04/2019 21:10

I now really want to watch buffy....

BetterToHaveLovedAndLost · 03/04/2019 21:10

The spell that sort of worked was a very long time ago. About 20 years ago. So the details are hazy but I recall having an empty water bottle that I put things in like flowers, a travelcard and other trophies. I slept with it in my bed for a couple of nights. I’m pretty sure there was a ribbon involved and I was imagining a swirling white light. Something like that.

My two year old has been trying for a while to turn our cat into a frog. She ain’t having much success so based on her experiences I would say no.
