To ask what you call your neighbours

Inspired by this thread I thought I would ask what names you have for your neighbours, with their specific traits.
We have
the ageing hippies, self explanatory
there's 50 pence, son of one set of neighbours who plays offensive gangsta rap really loud when his parents go out and smokes weed
the jacks live at the end of our shared drive, they've made a parking area where they shouldn't have, forked out for expensive drive resurfacing but won't pay towards the shared area and always put their bins on the edge of our garden on bin day

AIBU to ask for yours?

Their names,,,

AlanThePig · 19/02/2019 21:20

Old house we had uncle knob head across the road. He's still there and still a knob head.

whatsthecraic91 · 19/02/2019 21:23

We live in an apartment block so we call everyone by what they drive. Usually because they park like fucking idiots in the allocated parking.... 😑

Changedmynametoolikeyou · 19/02/2019 21:23

We call the wee boy next door Gabe. Because he looks like a blond 8 year old version of Gabe from the US office. Has to be seen.

And Boring Gerald. Self explanatory.

Otherwise they get called by their actual names.

PlainSpeakingStraightTalking · 19/02/2019 21:24

NDbutone has always been 'queer pairs house' - a succession of very odd couples, now its 'famous Welsh actors house' Grin

Anne, the weird man next door, discolights opposite (elderly couple , no grandchildren inexplicably have a terrible disco light projector on the front of their house from.october to January, and a multitude of crazy Christmas lights including four Christmas trees in the upstairs bedroom that has a bay window split into four)

GregoryPeckingDuck · 19/02/2019 21:24

That one neighbour who I saw that one time so I know she exists. That’s it. They all have lights on but I have never ever seen any of the others.

Firgoodnesssake · 19/02/2019 21:27

The fat controller
Slouches in his armchair at the window with the blinds constantly open and stares at any comings and goings in the street

Their names for the immediate and lovely ones. Two houses along is the cursed house. Bloke dropped dead, no warning, he wasn't healthy and in his 60s, then the new owner died-in her 30s, don't want to say why, very outing. It's now been sold again and the place flooded and destroyed virtually every wall/floor.

GrumpyOldMare · 19/02/2019 21:31

''Them next door'' no idea what their names are.

I live in a cul de sac of 20-30 houses,I know the names of 3 people, one of which lived round the corner from me when we were kids. (was nice to catch up with him after many years)

Bungalow (don’t know the lady’s name), Karen & Gary, Susan, Mr & Mrs Hard Hat (the man wears a suit & a hard hat when going to work - really can’t work out what job he does 😂), Charlotte, Picasso family (don’t know names - but they have a Citroen Picasso), the dickheads, Geoff & Joan, Chloe & Danny, the druggy dickheads, Vera & Mavis (we actually don’t know their names but somehow christened the two ladies Vera & Mavis).

Youmadorwhat · 19/02/2019 21:34

Their names... although we live rurally and all of our closest neighbors live about 200 yards away.

April241 · 19/02/2019 21:35

We had a neighbour that we called the Flintstone because every morning he'd run down the stairs, bashing his bag off the bannister and generally being SO LOUD because he was always late. His footsteps on the stairs reminded us of the Flintstones in their car Grin, didn't even bother me, it was like a routine "oh, here's Fred, he's really late today..."

Moonbeargruntiford · 19/02/2019 21:36

We call our 3 upstairs neighbours "paedo- postman", "shaggy" and "the one we never see". They are 3 odd men in their late 50-60s. Seriously weird.

My mother calls one of her neighbours Anal Brian... he religiously inspects his car for non existent damage at least a couple of times a day.

BagofTeeth · 19/02/2019 21:37

Big boob lady

The shaggers

Car guy

Onesie guy

Buns of steel

The doggy house (breeders)

Any house with a single dog is referred to as that breed's house but other than that we use names or numbers.

minieggsqueen · 19/02/2019 21:39

I'm in an apartment so we have (currently- literally right now) the annoying ground floor neighbours with 50 kids who all smoke in the hallways and set off our fire alarms- parents too! And are currently hosting a party (on a Tuesday?Hmm) with the loudest BASS MUSIC EVER.

We also have the lady below us whose dog died recentlySad

As well as the random couple on the second floor we never see.

Crunchymum · 19/02/2019 21:40

We were Brian and Tina to one of our neighbours. Neither of our names are anything to be confused with or misheard as Brian and Tina, nor are our initials B or T.
