To ask what you call your neighbours

Inspired by this thread I thought I would ask what names you have for your neighbours, with their specific traits.
We have
the ageing hippies, self explanatory
there's 50 pence, son of one set of neighbours who plays offensive gangsta rap really loud when his parents go out and smokes weed
the jacks live at the end of our shared drive, they've made a parking area where they shouldn't have, forked out for expensive drive resurfacing but won't pay towards the shared area and always put their bins on the edge of our garden on bin day

AIBU to ask for yours?

'Drunk and Drunker' co-dependent high functioning alcoholics who have epic barneys outside about three times a year. We turn all the lights off and watch through gaps in the curtains. Other than that there's been quite a high turn over (I wonder why?!) recently so all others are referred to by their house number.

Walnutwhipster · 19/02/2019 22:16

Rick, with a silent P.

Veronicat · 19/02/2019 22:16

Our old neighbor's in the village "the knitters at the guillotine" as they would latch on to anyone going through a bad time.
Now its just "those bastard cows" (four legged variety)

SaucyJack · 19/02/2019 22:17

I don’t get this thread Hmm

We just call our neighbours by their real names like Angry Redface Man, and the Fat Bitch who always takes up two parking spaces.

What else would we call them? 🤷🏻‍♀️

NetballHoop · 19/02/2019 22:18

We have:
The perves - once saw them naked through their window
Bible John - reads the bible on the train every day
The grumps - they can suck the fun out of any situation
PC dog poo - He's a copper and leaves his dog poo on the pavement
Jurgen Klinsman - Has a mullet like the footballer
Banana man - Once saw him buy an indecent amount of bananas in Tescos

Gorse · 19/02/2019 22:19

You have nice, civilized people for neighbours, Cherry? Lucky you. My immediate ndns are called The Morons for several very good reasons😕

Seren85 · 19/02/2019 22:19

Either side we use their names but always in context "X from next door" apart from when him on one side is shouting at full volume. The he's "Angry Dickhead from next door". Across the road is "Grandad who can't park". Picks his grandkids up from school every day and parks so badly. Further up the road are "Lady with the dogs who gets her milk delivered" (self explanatory) and "Shameless". Bloke who I'm pretty sure doesn't own a tshirt and spends a lot of time smoking and drinking in his front garden.

StoneofDestiny · 19/02/2019 22:19

All called by their names - we've struck lucky with all our neighbours, great people, sociable, considerate and helpful. Must be a nightmare to have bad neighbours.

Jojoanna · 19/02/2019 22:20

NDN laddie I don’t know why ?
Then grey hair
Then old couple
Then smiler
Then school teacher
Finally the ferrals

Canshopwillshop · 19/02/2019 22:20

Our old neighbour was ‘chewy mint’ - old mis who liked to stick her nose into everyone’s business. All the others are lovely and called by their proper names.

MiniMum97 · 19/02/2019 22:24

God we are obviously really boring, and have no imagination, some brilliant ones on here!

We just have "The doctors" for our neighbour but one because...wait for it....they are doctors!

We are not ideas people. Clearly.

AliasGrape · 19/02/2019 22:24

Next door on one side are called their names
Next door the other side are called ‘next door’
Oscar’s mum/dad (Oscar is the dog)
The ones opposite with the new baby
Shouty arse
Edward Scissorhands (has a completely incongruous topiary something in the garden - not sure what the something is exactly, I want to say squirrel, DP thinks llama, could possibly be chicken).

Butterfly3005 · 19/02/2019 22:26

In our old house we had 'fat wankers next door', they were an oversized family but the main issue was the husband/dad named Brian, he was the biggest wanker and was absolutely vile! Was always verbally abusive to his wife and kids and they used to play loud bass music every weekend without fail!!

We also had yellow van man across the road, the bald-headed bloke, the quiet side next door (family of 4 but they never made a sound) and the nosey ones across the road (curtain twitchers and constantly asked how much things cost!)

Where we live now we have Andy and Stacey next door, they're not assholes so we actually use their names! Dickheads at the end who constantly acuse us of things (but thats a different story altogether)! The posh side next door (young childless couple with highly professional jobs, 5 bed house, flashy cars, always on holiday and flies their own helicopters!)

erja · 19/02/2019 22:27

Lycra guy
"You know... the guy who sits outside with the pint"
Old lady
Smoker guy

Love this thread - didn't realise how common it was for people to have 'names' for their neighbours!!!

(I wonder what mine is?) Hmm

Gooseygoosey12345 · 19/02/2019 22:28

We've got "the old man". He's lovely, always waves hello.
"The new people" even though they've been here a year. Also lovely, helped me with my car.
"Grumpy bitch 1" and "grumpy bitch 2". We live in a "naice" area and they genuinely believe they own the place. GB1 asked me not to park outside my own house!! (They have a 4 car drive and our road is wide, literally does not inconvenience them at all, can't fit both cars on our drive so have no choice). GB2 has moaned at every other neighbour on the street, for using their own gardens! Funnily enough hasn't moaned at me yet, may have got a reputation after encounter with GB1 after her parking "issue".
The rest we call by name Smile

Moanranger · 19/02/2019 22:28

The Doofus
The others we call by their names, but usually with an eye roll

Fcukthisshit · 19/02/2019 22:29

Most of them by their names but there’s piano man a few doors up and we also have the old bag next door.

EskiVodkaCranberry · 19/02/2019 22:29

We have
Hot dad man (I love him)
The old doctors house (because a doctor used to live there, doesn't now)
Dickheads next door
Man with the poppies
Del next door
Ian with the dog
Lady next door to Ian with the dog
The dog walker

Moanranger · 19/02/2019 22:30

My neighbours probably call me “ she who must be obeyed” (I hope!)

Chocolate35 · 19/02/2019 22:31

We have The knob head Perv Upstairs,The Chimney downstairs and The Dickheads across the road. This thread is hilariousGrin
