... that totally rubs you up the wrong way. I mean, they might be a perfectly lovely person, but there’s something about their face that makes you want to punch them.

Take Keira Knightly for example.

I appreciate she is beautiful, that’s not the issue, it’s just something about her face that I find so irritating.

Perez Hilton. Very annoying face.

There’s a few more that I can’t recall right now but AIBU?

That woman on the Trivago ad - the kids turn over now when the ad comes on. There's just something about her that makes me irrationally mad.

BooksAreMyOnlyFriends · 16/02/2019 12:35

It's definitely a smugness thing. It can't help but show in someone's face. It's a particular expression that I can't quite put my finger on. Something around the mouth and eyebrows I think. A sort of tiny smile and slightly raised eyebrow that says 'I'm so much better than you'

Jamie Oliver, I have no idea why!

LynetteScavo · 16/02/2019 12:45

Yes to Keira Knightly, Helen Skelton, & Brian Cox. David Walliams goes without saying.

Also Ricky Gervais.

DH absolutely can bear to look at Anita Rani, although she doesn't bother me.

prettypossums · 16/02/2019 13:02

Apparently the Trivago woman has a huge Male following

rightreckoner · 16/02/2019 13:09

Oh yes Trivago woman. She’s a man’s woman if ever I saw one.

belinda789 · 16/02/2019 14:20

I do not like thee, Doctor Fell,
The reason why – I cannot tell;
But this I know, and know full well,
I do not like thee, Doctor Fell.

(written by satirical English poet Tom Brown in 1680.

Does anyone else remember the Ladybird book where that rhyme was illustrated by this Shock

ChristineBaskets · 16/02/2019 15:07

Oh god that picture immediately came to mind when I read the above quote! I loved the illustrations in those Nursery Rhyme books but that one gave me the creeps Shock

LynetteScavo · 16/02/2019 16:19

Brad Pitt.

Yes, really.

rockingthelook · 16/02/2019 20:37

Jeremy Corbyn- needs slapping on the hour, every hour!
Gemma Collins- needs slapping to drive the nastiness and self entitlement out of her
Gwyneth Paltrow- just fuck off love
Every damn one of the talentless Kardashians, ditto the Loose Women panel, you make women look a right bunch of idiots
Sally Lindsay on the posh hotel show with Nigel Havers, drop the professional thick northern working class bird act and just be yourself!

BlahXXBlah · 16/02/2019 21:51

GReesedSMog looks like the child catcher!

cuppycakey · 16/02/2019 21:56

I really like the Trivago woman Smile

The face I cannot abide and want to slap because she looks so fucking smug is the actress Ruth Wilson. Am sure she is lovely etc, just something about her sets me raging.

And Amanda Holden of course....

Weirdlookingbricks · 16/02/2019 22:42

William Hanson needs a massive punch in the gob. Massive.

MrsDeanWinchester75 · 16/02/2019 23:06

Andrea McLean, Danny Dyer and John Thomson although my dislike is based on personality too.

SweetMarmalade · 16/02/2019 23:14

Nicky Chapman.

From Pop Idol to Escape to the country! I’ve never been able to feel comfortable with this transition!

Ellie Goulding

It’s not the face but the voice. Why, I have no idea. It’s just me.

Actually I think it’s Nicky Chapman’s voice too.

I might have a voice issue type thing going on!

Dutch1e · 17/02/2019 00:02

A lot of the men mentioned on this thread have eyes that are very close together, makes them look sly or something?

Completely agree with Nicholas Cage. Also Nicole Kidman and Keira Knightley even though I wish I liked them more, they seem lovely in interviews.

SpringForEver · 17/02/2019 00:28

Renee Zellweger, it's the pudginess and the piggy eyes, makes me cringe.

Isayeichnotheich · 17/02/2019 00:48

I only know the major people mentioned here, and agree with half of them. Though I've found some of which used to annoy me intensely have changed, like many others Keira stopped bothering me, for instance. Many others I've never heard of 🙄 and can't be bothered to google
David Tennant anyone? Don't want to slap him but looking at his face causes discomfort.

TruthHertz81 · 17/02/2019 01:31

For me it's Kate Smurthwaite and pretty much any bloke with a stupid Liam Gallagher haircut. Oh and hipsters.

sushisuperstar · 17/02/2019 01:38

Oh yes. Kirsten Bell. Stacy Dooley.

PrismGuile · 17/02/2019 01:40

It's people whose faces naturally have a smug set to them. As in, their face shape mimics a smirky expression.

sushisuperstar · 17/02/2019 01:42

Oh Russel Brand too and the main actress on pitch perfect 😤

rubberduckyyouretheone · 17/02/2019 01:50

Jamie Carragher
Wayne Rooney

sizzledrizz · 17/02/2019 01:57

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
Donald Trump
David Cameron
Theresa May
Tony Blair
